Respected sir, my name is hemal majithia from mumbai, maharashtra. I received the first call from "www.dealsnshopping.com" company from +[protected]. [protected] / [protected] / and other numbers time to time[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] the caller. She told me that this is a new website and for brand promotion they are giving away gift items (Apple iphone mobile phone) to people who buy from their website. She said firstly you need to register on our website by purchase any product minimum amount rs 299. So i purchase a polo watch for rs 299 then she said you"ll receive confirmation call from our side next day. Next day i receive call from pone and this time person. He told me prizes are in two category first is maruti car / bike / trip to hongkong and second is electronic 50 consolation prize, out of which i have to choice the prize as mobile phone Next day i got again call and he also said me i need to pay rs 6, 995 /- for courier charges and insurance charged for product to be delivered by courier for this process. We asked why to pay when you mention this as prize. Free, he told actually for third party insurance and courier fees you need to pay and rs 6, 990, will refund in your website account wallet or by cash back i. E. www.dealsnshopping.com account. I told him that i can pay on delivery of goods, which they refused to accept and insist to make payment on line, i paid money online as per instruction. He told me that i"ll receive call next day from product department for delivery of product. Next day i received phone call from number above mentioned and person. He said me to select product i choose electronic product as mobile and he said that i need to pay more 15% as service tax on the cost of product offered as gift worth rs. 69, 999/- as we are providing you that services to complete the further processing but i refuse. Then i sent email to complaint department for the same, which was not responded by you, and also search on net for such events and i found similar case of robin gupta, so i also like to lodge the same complaint of fraud and misrepresentation to abstract money from people like us on your complaints Next day i received call from phone number mentioned above and he asked for my photo id & passport size photo, i sent my address proof to email id [protected]@dealsnshopping.com I did the same immediately. While i got the payment confirmation from my bank i did not get any confirmation from their website nor any call. Till date i am not in receipt of any product or confirmation, their phone numbers are [protected]/ [protected] / [protected] / [protected] I humbly request you to please once investigate the matter and get me my money back. i had also paid Rs. 149/- for purchasing product and today they asked me to pay Rs. 13005/- for documents charges but i told them that i will pay after sometime and enquire about the same online and found all your people complaints and surprise to see it is still not resolved
