There's been no water supply for the past 6 days... As we all know that water is the basic necessity of human life.. It really difficult without it so please kindly fix the problem as soon as possible gali no. 3 krishna nagar safdurjng enclave. Please am really frustrated cant even think of anything without water pls fix itnot a single drop of water.

    I have been receiving excessive bills since last year varying to up to rs 2000 per month which was never the case before and also my consumption never increased.

    Kindly look into the matter, you are asking me to pay rs.11000 which is highly dis-satisfactory. Whenever i try to complaint your officials either dont listen to the complaints when i visit the office or there is no response on 1916 contact number.

      The construction of my new property was completed in may-18 and water supply to all newly built 4 residential floors was restored by oct-18. Since then the water supply was regular and recently the water supply pressure from the source has dropped to almost nil. Plumber cleaned the filter at the meter and still no change in water pressure. Kno [protected]

      The supply has been restored. There was a plastic stuck in supply junction for our pipe. This was done by me privately since the water supply had to be restored.

        Our Street's sewer is completely block again since month. its difficult to even walk on the street due to overflow of sewer, And its becoming the primary source of mosquitoes as well.
        Earlier around 1 months back, i raised the complaint for the same. After several followups they came and did the the very temporary work (Just spent 10-15 mins) and assured us that all water would be cleared automatically as they have cleared the Mainhole. But that statement was just to close the ongoing complaint without putting any effort. Then Problem of sever blockage again started just after few days, and getting worst day by day.

        Why they have not cleared the sub and main holes thoroughly so that atleast it would work for next 6 months?

        Requesting to all higher authorities to look into this matter and solve this sewer overflow issue ASAP.

          I am resident of fateh nagar and it been week that we are daily getting gutter water which full of smell and is of black color in our water connection. No action has been taken since then and we have called the complaint number 1916 but it is of no use. The complaint number is[protected].

          Moreover, we are getting our bill and we are paying the bill regularly for the water which is of no use.

          Kindly check this and help us on priority.

            Respected sahab,

            With due respect i would like to inform you that from last 1 month we are getting, sewer water mixed with our drinking water in our area h-375, gali no. 8 dhirpur, delhi - 110009, i have several time (Four time in a month) complaint at customer care no. 1916 of delhi jal board but no action has been taken out till the time. Even i am receiving message that my complaint has been resolved, this is so surprising without any discussion or solution who has resolved it. Few day ago i have got our area engineer (Hitesh kaushik) number and when i asked about my complaint, then he said will resolve soon, but the situation still as it is (Coming dirty water). The situation of water is too pathetic, also, we are getting sick with stomach pain and other disease due to use dirty water.

            Kindly, consider this application and take necessary action on urgent basis.

            Hope you understand the problem and resolve this issue.

              This is to bring to your kind notice that bill dated[protected] has been sent to us with the amount reflecting to rs. 38895 which is is wrongly calculated. The bill amount does not do justice with the consumption level. My details are as follows, b-2c/29b janak puri, new delhi-110058.
              We have been receiving wrongly calculated bill for water consumption since few years.
              Request you to kindly rectify the bill immediately. Looking forward for resolution of this issue as soon as possible.

                Every after 4-5 days the supply water we are getting is extremely stinky and smelly. It is more of like gutter water. It has a lot of smell. We cannot use that water for even washing or bathing, cooking and washing utensils using that smelly dirty water is just unacceptable. I reside in khajoor wali gali, east baldev park. Many times i called 1916 and registered a complaint but after every 4-5 day, i face the same issue. Can anyone running the system take the complaint seriously and can rectify this issue today and help us in getting normal water and make delhi a better place to live?
                It is really frustrating to see the capital city of the country is fighting for the very basic need of getting clean water. I cannot even imagine what is the situation in other parts of the country.

                  I am the resident of zakir nagar west, okhla, new delhi. Our street's sewer is completely block again since month. Its difficult to even walk on the street due to overflow of sewer, and its becoming the primary source of mosquitoes as well.

                  Street is narrow but it does not mean that we are not human beings.

                  Earlier around 3 months back, i raised the complaint for the same. After several followups they came and did the the very temporary work (Just spent 10-15 mins) and assured us that all water would be cleared automatically as they have cleared the mainhole. But that statement was just to close the ongoing complaint without putting any effort. Then problem of sever blockage again started just after few days, and getting worst day by day.

                    Since last couple of days sewer is overflowing in the lane connecting aggarwal dharamshala and macdonald. It is between d block and f14 block. A foul smell is making living difficult in area. There is water logging in front of our gate. At ground floor the washrooms are backflowing. The sewer water is entering inside the gate at next door. This lane is hardly swept even.

                      It is to inform you that we are suffering from water supply problem from last one and half month. We receive only 700 ltrs approx water after complete four days. We collect water of bathing and cloth washing in tubs and buckets and reuse it for toilet purpose. The situation is very pitiable we worse than jhopadpatti. Being a responsible Govt.the ground level reports should be asked from the officers responsible for this irregular water supply. The frequency of water supply would be hardly 8 to 9 times in a month. Kindly see this matter seriously. Being your voter we have right to ask you about our problems.
                      I shall be grateful to you if water supply is made regular for once in 48 hour. I think we are not asking for more.

                        There is so much of smell in the mcd water that we are not able to sit in the house and water is also so dirty and is like it is coming directly from the sewer. Kindly do the needful on urgent basis as we are not able to even take a bath. We are facing this problem for the last 4 months. Sometimes the water has very less smell but most of the times the water is so dirty that even we smell bad after taking a bath from that water. I need the line to be checked and see if there is any leakage and mcd water us getting mixed with sewer. Kindly do the needful we are facing a hard time.                           I have received a bill in the month of november'18 for the period from[protected] to[protected] for rs.133/- against which i have paid rs.130/- valid receipt no.171 dated 24.11.2018. Again i have received another bill for the month of january'19 for a period from 06-11-18 to[protected] for rs.916/- which is an inflated bill against which i have complaint to delhi jal board zro (Sw)-i diary no.4067 dated 19.01.2019. No action has been taken against this complaint.
                          Further in the month of march 2019 for a period from[protected] to[protected] for rs.2031/- this is also an inflated bill.
                          I have made all the efforts to rectify my bill and deposit the correct bill amount, which is not possible so far. I have taken bill reading 00122 which is taken by me on 30.03.2019.
                          Please take action to rectify my bill at the earliest.

                                I am residing at 45, mausam vihar, delhi-51 and facing problem with main sewer line choaked. Mcd persons came on 27-mar (Wednesday) but not yet cleared. Due to the choaking of sewers we are afraid a lot of epidemic can take place resulted overflow in residential area / houses.

[protected] we presume of getting higher bill of water as we are only four members and in three members are working inspite getting higher bills than others who have joint family at home. Please get our water meter changed with new one to solve the problem as earlier with old meter we were not getting that much bill which we are getting now with new meters. These new meters were changed automatically by the department earlier in whole of our apartment in placement of old meters.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the correction in my house address, this block b instead of block d. As i am not consuming the water 20k liter per month, my water bills needs to be on factual reading instead of on average basis as written on the bill mloc. I would like to mention here that i have installed the water meter outside my house, so any time the delhi jal board official can take the actual meter reading. The present official of the djb not taking the actual meter reading from one to another reasons known to him only. I request to you to kindly take up the matter for early expedite.

                                      Dear dir,

                                      Please refer to our earlier letter dated 14th march, 2017 in respect of change the above water faulty meter.
                                      No action on my earlier letter dated 14th march, 2019 (Diary no. 1156)

                                      I am a retired person, every month (Billing circle) my water bills come very high and there is some fault in meter, being a retired person on limited means to survive i find it difficult to pay it.
                                      Given the following bills which i have paid earlier:

                                      4. 2026/-
                                      5. 1542-
                                      6. 1354/-

                                      Yesterday further we have received the one more bill of rs. 2038/- dated 11th march, 2019.
                                      My consumption is average 500 litre per day, i request to change the faulty meter immediately and send the revised bill accordingly after the all above paid bill’s adjustments.

                                        Over flowing sewage

                                        Respected sir/mam,
                                        I am resident o[censored]ttam nagar, mohan garden h-block.in my area sewage are block from two or three months and now dirty water is coming out from sewer and from drain. Government provide sewage facility for public, it's very good but now it become hell for us. No one is responding. We complained so many times but no one came here. Now we are helpless. Please suggest us what should we do or send your mcd team who can empty these sewer. I hope you take serious step for the serious issue.
