Hi,
I want to register complaint against delhi jal board as our water bill is too high and it is difficult to pay everytime. From last one year it's more than 5 thousand rupees every month so it means we are using more than 20 thousand litre water??? What is going on??? Why we are getting bill of rs.5k everytime??? Please refund our all. Money and take strict action on this.

I am resident of lajpat nagar 2, and i have been observing that water gets wasted everyday due to overhead tank overflowing from 4 am to 5 am from address c -82 lajpat nagar 2, delhi, 110024. The tank that overflows is for salon he&she.
The water keeps falling on the ground and gets wasted. They even run the pump during the day and when the tank overfills they don't get to know. We have tried telling them to get some alarm system put or get a bigger overhead tank but there has been no action.

I am one of the resident of govind vihar karawal nagar delhi-110094 our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one month which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that we are delhities

I am a resident of cc block shalimar bagh, delhi-110088. I have a water meter connection with kno.[protected]. No one is residing in this hgouse and as per
Wateer rates the bill should be 0.
But currently it is showing bill of rs20000. When i contacted delhi borad person who takes reading, he said your meter is not working thats why default bill is charged against your bill every month. But no one cared to ever tell me this thing.

Then i checked my water meter and showed to the person that meter is working fine and readings were increasing, but still they are charging default bill and when contacted they said you have to pay the amount., no other option.
How can we have a bill of 20000 for a house where noone is staying?

I am one of the resident of jg-2 block vikas puri. Our street is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one month which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. Sewage water is getting mixed into it. It is highly unhealthy for us to use it.

Request you to please take this matter at the earliest

This is to inform you that we have installed rain water harvesting at our premises a-60, naraina ind. Area phase 1, new delhi & submitted application for correction of water bill & other required documents on dated 22/11/2018 with dairy no. 3304 & second letter submitted on 01/02/2019 with dairy no. 4919 but till date not resolve our problem.in this regard regard we have already visited your rajender nagar jal board office but no body ready to solve problem & result our bill are pending for payment from last 2-3 month.

You are requested to kindly depute concern person for correction of water bill as soon as possible.

Meter reader has not come to our premises & now we found a bill dated 27-feb-2019 amounting to rs.1468/- (For the period from 13-dec-2018 to 26-feb-2019 with service charge - consumption between 20-30 kl) due for payment on 16-mar-2019.

H. No. I-67/2, gali no 11, brahampuri, delhi-53. There are sewer overflow about 2 months, i complaint many times but no any take action on this. Please sir resolve this sewer overflow problem as soon as possible.

Sir i complaint for sewer overflow but no anyone come for resolve sewer overflow. Dirty water lies on street and make bad smell. This caused many diseases and many people suffer from dengu/maleria diseases. I request you please resolve the problem of sewer overflow.

I would like to complaint about the poor meter reading system going on in indira vikas colony, near mukherjee nagar. The person who comes to take reading first said that your meter is fast, we changed it and one month i get bill of 1300 and next month bill is 0. And after 2 months today i am getting a bill message of
Rs 5600. I will not pay this amount again as earlier as well i have paid rs 12000. I am very annoyed by this process of delhi jal board. I want strict action this time. As soon as possible i want you to help me and solve my problem. Earlier this was not a problem but from last 1 year or 1.5 years this has been such a pain. Please i have faith on delhi jal board and that they will help me. Reading people never tell you the exact reading and also they touch meter open people's meter this is should not be done i want severe action to be taken against those people. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.

My kitchen sewer is blocked, in-spite of multiple complaints no action is taken by mcd.

No one entertains your problem even if it is there job. For mcd you need to chase them multiple times for your problem to be worked on. Even after multiple complaints your problem is not resolved. Can someone look into the working of government employees, who are more interested in taking salary but are not interested to work on our problems.

I am resident of new gobind pura, krishna nagar, new delhi - 110051.
We are getting a contaminated water supply from last couple of months.
The water which we are getting from water tab is highly polluted & smelly. Its water of a sewage pipe line.
I am continuously notifying the authorities about this issues by registering my complaint on 1916 but still there is no corrective action taken.
Please support to get this issue address & provide us the solution.
This water can cause serious health issues, hence seeking for your immediate support.

I have also submitted letter of installing meter in your depatment i have enclosing three documents 1) deposite letter diary no.28823 dated[protected]. 2) meter reading taken on 22feb reading is 15. 3) water bill please make bill from my meter reading

My delhi jal board k no. Is [protected]. I received a bill of amount rs. 3546/- for 5 months. Last bill i had paid on 1st september and that amount was just rs 186/-.
Delhi jal board charged me amount for the thing which is free in delhi.
Also it was mentioned that my meter was locked, but i was at home all the time and nobody visited my place.
We are only 2 members at home and delhi jal board charged me for 95 units of water and which is just for 114 days. A copy of the bill is attached.

This bill is totally wrong and i will not pay it. Please correct my bill and send it again.

Sir, i priyanka kapoor resident of mukherjee near..in front of my home water is been collected for so long due to residents of 207, whose water is been continuously coming out & spreading nuisance in our area. Many kids have already been suffered from dengue coz of the collection of water but they people are not ready to do anything.. Other residents also requested them many times to do something of this water which is been continuously coming out.. But they are not ready to listen. So it's my humble request to take some action against this.. So that we can get some relief from this nuisance. Kindly pay attention on my request. I will be grateful. Our street is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one month which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some sewage pipe line. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue. Here we all are constrain to drink this sewage water which attract very serious health issue and person get hospitalized.

I am a resident of L Block Uttam Nagar, Bal Udyan Marg New Delhi 110059. This is to bring to your notice a serious lapse on part of the Sewerage deptt..
The Sewer lines of my block starting from L-18 towards L-8 (House Numbers) and the same on the other side on my by lane are blocked and are overflowing since the beginning of this year, a number of ticket were logged by different residents to get the attention of the Concerned authorities, however for the reason that the sewerage team was putting in a new connecting line, to the main sewer line this line was stopped and since then it has remained blocked / chocked numerous requests to the JE and the DJB teams have fell on deaf ears, there has been no response or visible action as the situation is turning from bad to critical,
1. Sewerage is overflowing near the two sides of the bylane.
2. This dirty water is getting collected near the outer walls of the houses and this could lead to new problems for the houses and the outer walls.
3. It is stinking horribly and making it difficult for the people to set out or even use the road or breathe out.
4. This colony has a number of small children too with nowhere to even move out of the houses.
5. With the onset of rains it is now a concern that the dirty water might get into the homes of residents creating health and safety issues.
6. The helpline 1916 is acting like dumb and seem to be helpless, reference to one Ticket[protected]…. Logged on 4-feb’19. Follow-ups are met with the reply that they would escalate…. Don’t know ……..as nothing seems to improve but is going from bad to worst as of today.
7. The Helpdesk is not even able to give the reason for the delay or the TAT when it would be resolved.
8. A Complaint was uploaded on the twitter account of Delhi Jal Board a couple of days ago … nevertheless it seems that it never got the attention as was intended.
9. The Land line numbers for the Janak Puri office are unreachable as given on your website.
10. The situation is such that a couple of residents are unable to even use the ground floor washrooms.
11. We had approached the JE but no appropriate response or action is seen.
12. Would like to ask the concerned authorities “ As a respectable citizen of delhi and India “DO WE HAVE TO LIVE NOW IN SUCH A PATHETIC CONDITION THAT SEWER DIRTY WATER SHOULD ENTER OUR HOMES AND EVERY MORNING WHEN WE GO OUT WE HAVE TO BREATHE THIS FILTHY SMELLY AIR ??””.
13. No Amount or efforts of digitalization or streamlining seems to help as the concerned authority has refused to acknowledge or work on the problems in a time bound manner (Refer toPoints 6 and 7).
Request your kind assistance in getting this issue resolved on a top priority as now the residents are reaching the point of where in this could be a health hazard and also a inconvenience to one and all.

Myself is residing at d95, sewak park, uttam nagar. Every time djb sewar waste cleaning staffs drain out the sewar wastes and left it centrally on the road. Which spreads odour smells and inhygenic germs surrounding us. Yesterday also happens it. Request yours to take serious action for this kind of nuisance.

Hi this is Satish live in Najafgarh at RD190C DHARAMPURA EXTN NAJAFGARH. the complaint is that when person who came to take reading at home at that my wife go to take children from school, so the person who came for meter reading he take photo of my gate lock and generate the bill of Rs.430 at average read of 22kl read when he came last time the meter read was 1040 and when the bill was generate it was read 1057 it mean 17kl .So kindly sort out the issue of my bill. The resident of a 53a mohan garden extention, uutam nagar, new delhi due to heavy eakage of dirty water from severage dirty water flowing in the centre of a walking street and the water is all dirty waste of the house. We cannot enter the main door of our house when the water flows and the others cannot even pass the street. Photos and video recordings have been updated by all d neighbours. Kindly look into the matter asap...

Please look into this as one of a resident of b-4, gaurav apartments, i. P. Extension, delhi-110092 water tank overflows and plenty liters of drinking water is wasted and goes into drainage. Multiple times we have complaint about it to society but nobody does anything as house owner wife is president of society.

I have evidence of videos and which we will be posted into social media very soon.
