My k.no. is [protected].MY water bill comes huge again and again.no body listen in Djb office kanhaiya nagar.
Ab Maine meter change kraya to 7-8 month ka bill ek hi cycle mai add kr diya and send me huge bill again.Now they don't accept my application but after 2 years officer came n want to disconnect my connection or pay the amounts.
Pls look into the matter n solve the problems.My consumption is v.less as shown in bills.but bill is huge.
I cant pay it.

I complained on the 1916 helpline about overflowing sewage and mosquitos in the water in front of our house (complaint ID: DJB[protected] on 12th Aug 2022. But no action was taken till today date 18th Aug 2022 and I called & message the allotted person JE Hans Raj Meena but no response from his side (the phone is always "busy").
Then I called 1916 again on 18th Aug 2022 and they said my complaint was already resolved according to their...

This is to let you know we are residents of Lal Chand colony, Block A, Rangpuri Extension, New Delhi 110037, there are around 200 families living in this area, DJB laid down water pipeline in the area and the water was supplied twice a week but for last 2 and a half months no water supply is coming, same is being complained to area JE as well as MLA office but nothing has happened.

Some people for there self interest has blocked the water line at the entrance of our street which is leading to this problem

Being a social activist its my responsibility to inform the authorities about all these illegal things running in that area.

I demand a strong action against the culprits and ask the DJB engineer to get the line opened as soon as possible

This kind of act is hampering the water supply for people living in that area.

I request the authorities to take a quick actions against this and provide water to the residents of this area as soon as possible

My meter got changed sometimes ago as it was faulty as per testing agency and it was changed by the Delhi Jal Board but even after changing the meter my bill amount was not corrected by the Jal Board and till now it shows that previous amount in addition to the monthly bill amount. Despite visiting the Jal Board multiple times but they didn’t respond to any of my request for correcting the bill amount.
As now i doubt my new meter is very fast because it shows very high readings as I’m living in a 55 gaj house with total 4 members in my family, the bill amount is 76000 Rs.
I want to request for correction in my bill amount and complaint of fast meter, request for testing the meter.

The pipe fittings for filling water into terrace water tanks are old and damaged every day thousands liter of drinking water is getting wasted. The leaking water is also heavily damaging the building structure.
Requesting you to please get the pipeline repairing done.

From last few months I am facing problem of water overflowing in front of my house. Which are also causing lots of accidents. No. Of mosquitos is increasing which can cause dangue or malaria. Water is continuously overflowing.

There is No water supply in Block 32 area of Old Rajinder Nagar New Delhi. Residents are seriously deprived of water and Tankers so available are of no use as water cannot be carted upto 3rd floor.

Old persons are having serious problem as no source is available.

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your notice with regard to the highly inflated water bill received on account o[censored]nmetered status in Jal board records.

1. During 2018 the meter was taken out by robbers and a new meter was installed.

2. I was unaware about the procedure for intimating the change of meter.
3. The last bill received was in April 2019 for Rs.1307/- which was on the higher side as in the bill it was shown unmetered despite the existing new meter and the bill was duly paid.
4. If you check my records on an average the consumption is less than 20 KL / month.
5. I was in regular touch with your water meter reader for inclusion of meter details in your records but it has not been processed as your representative is helpless and my constant follow ups does not yield any results.
6. Bills are not being generated and was told by the meter reader to get it from the website.
7. The current bill which was taken from the website is for Rs.25000/- which is very high and I request you to reduce the same after considering and reviewing the past consumption details.

We have to registered our complaint for Sewer blocked of our street Gali No.1 -3, {back lane between Gali No.1, 2 and 3) Tughlakabad Extension has been blocked and over flow when it rains and there is dirty water flushed back and we have pool of dirty water inside the house and also outside in lane and we have to clear the flushed water manually when rain stopped.
The house has been the breeding place of cockroaches’, creepy-crawly water creatures, mosquitoes and other insects which enhance the great risk of spreading disease like viral, dengue, chikungunya etc.
What is reason for this over flow, blockage or any other problem? Expect corporation to take immediate action and unblock/clean the sewer to avoid further inconvenience resulting to any damage or miss-happening.

K.No. [protected] is running in my premises. At present a bill of Rs. 999 has been issued without taking meter reading. Please first take the reading and then issue/generate the bill.
Hence it is requested to please regenerate the bill after taking meter reading. The previous reading shown in the bill no. [protected] as on 25.2.22 is 774 and now the current reading as on 31.7.2022 is not shown/printed in the said bill. This shows that you have issued bill without taking meter reading. At present the reading as on 3.8.2022 is 804.
Therefore you are requested to issue the bill accordingly.

Very dirty water was coming in the water supply yesterday.
There was a very strong smell of sewage in the tank.

In November 2021 DJB sent me a bill that was around 8 times higher than all preceding bills. (Rs.8, 000+!) (bill no[protected] I have been trying to resolve this since then. I am still receiving high bills with arrears and higher unit costs. Since September 2021 we have used approximately 24 units per month (meter readings[protected]. I have tried to register a grievance online and through the app on my phone. Neither are being accepted. I am a senior citizen and very careful with water. I request DJB to please investigate and resolve this and provide a new bill without the arrears and other excess charges. Thank you.

There is no proper water supply in West Patel Nagar, Block D (Pin :110008) since many days. We're facing very grave issue of water supply and are in great trouble. Jal board, do something and resolve the issues of grassroots as soon as possible.
So many complaints have been registered but no action still taken by the competent authority. Why so lenient?

We the neighborhood on streets number 14 and 15 of Ghaffar manzil, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi are being supplied water of extremely poor quality and smell for over two months. This is due to the sewage water getting mixed with the main supply from a hole developed in the main supply pipeline. We have repeatedly filed complaints on the Jal board website under the complaints section and went to the Jal board office as well to lodge the complaint. Irrespective of several attempts our issue has yet not been readdressed by the area engineer. Jal Board, after repeated perusal, sent an operator to check the issue who casually came and checked the tap water at that time, and confirmed nothing is wrong without even inspecting the pipeline once. Thereby we sought help from the local plumber in order to identify the issue. I am, writing regular emails, messages, and attempting calls to the assigned JE of the area SH. GOVIND GAUR since then but all went unanswered. I request higher authorities in the JAL board to please look into the issue as soon as possible since everyone in the locality is now falling sick, and our health and life are in jeopardy. (The person who came for inspection from Jal board earlier dismissed our complaint on the pretext that we are the only household complaining while the rest are choosing to live and fall sick in the mess.)
I am attaching the image of dirty water collected in a bucket which we have been receiving for over two months, it is pale in color and has an extremely pungent odor.
