    Sub: Excessive Amount of Bills, No Meter reading taken for months and not receiving water bills for months.

    Respected Sir/Madam,

    I am writing this letter to your esteemed office to bring your kind attention to subject issues which causing problems for getting an actual water bills. My New KNO: [protected], C-44/B, Kalkaji, New Delhi. I was not receiving water bill for months and I recently received excessive amount bills for many months, recent bill dated – 18-Jan-2016 with the amount of INR 34397. I have visited our area ZRO sometimes which is Giri Nagar, complaining that one should help us to check these readings and the bill is very high. They suggest us to pay these bills. But last many months we did not even receive bills. The records keep showing meter & bills accuracy, which is necessary to understand exactly not in a lump sum. I would like to request through this platform to concerned, please have personal visit to check regular previous readings & bills in the system and generate correct bills for remaining months.

    May I request Delhi Jal Board to visit houses and take reading and give bills on regular manner so that hardship is not placed to pay a lump sum at one go. Therefore, it is requested to look into the matter & get it rectified as soon as possible.

    A quick action will be highly appreciated.

      Consumer Number 4803340, 295 Ramanagar, Krishana Nagar, Delhi-51. We have been receiving excessive amount bills for many years. Everytime we visit to the Shivpuri Jalboard office complaining that no one has come to take readings and the bill is very high. They suggest pay this we will send somebody and will get adjusted in next bill. But since 3-4 years no one has showed up for taking meter readings. The record keep showing meter faulty, which is not the case as we can see the meter is running whenever in use. I would like to request through this platform to concerned please have the reading taker personnel visit and record the data in system and generate correct bills.

          I am resident of 90/82-B, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017 Consumer No( K. N0- [protected]) being a new Water meter provided by Delhi Jal Board in the name of my mother Late Smt. Rewati Devi I want to lodge a complaint about absorbitantly high meter reading being noticed by me for almost one year . The average meter reading of one month is coming around 2.2KL/ day which exceptionally high for a family of only four members. Though I have paid all the bills up to date as per this meter, but now i am really getting surprised that even with nominal usage of water, the meter reading is progressing more than 2KL every day. My K No is -[protected]. Please register my complaint and replace this meter with a good one. I disagree with this meter reading and refuse to pay further with this present meter reading. Thanks!

            Water supply problem in west patel nagar

            As per delhi goverment decision that if people will consume water less that 22K litre per month then there would be no charges apply.

            However I have received a bill of 5058 for cunsumer KNO -[protected].

            Could you please look into this matter

                We are residents of west delhi (5 block subhash nagar ) . We are facing problems regarding dirty stinking supply water since 1 month. People have started falling ill nd having different sort of stomach infection. Kindly look into the matter.. water is very basic need for every citizen..we can't drink sever water. PLZ HELP

                  Respected Sir/Madam I am one of the resident of F-Block, Jeewan Park, Pankha Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi which comes under the Area Code: A-9/ Janak Puri, New Delhi area. Our building and others are suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past 15 days which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from sewerage line. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.                     Ashoka Apartment Devli Khanpur New Delhi-62 falls opposite sangam vihar which is unauthorised but had received water connection.The line of Djb is in front of apartment. The Djb is denying us water connection saying that our apartment is not present on the map of mcd.We live in LIG can't afford so much money and want water connection from djb.

                      Had made n number of complaints on 1916 and also office in Pul bangash since past several months. I get calls of assurances every time and many times but with no solution to my problem. Many a times I am told to hire a private plumber but nobody even took the pain to visit our place. We are told to install motor pump which is illegal, by the department people itself. It is present in every house these days with no action. I being a responsible citizen want to go by the way which protects my water but it seems that the department itself does not wish so.I simply wish to have water with whatever pressure is available by the department.I just want them to check my pipelines underground and repair them if damaged, check the firul.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, My bill is wrong calculation on my as my meter reading my per month water use 28-32 units 1st bill is not ok[protected]th April 2015 To 17th July 2015 Units Jal Boadr 94 days meter reading show only 9 only Rs . Amount 0 2rd Bills is[protected]th July 2015 to 1 September 2015 Units is Amount Rs. 6722/- then bill is very high charged amount Rs. 6722/- amount charged approx. 2500/- extra bills. But I the Grievance registration on Delhi Jal Board but not give positive feedback and Delhi Jal Board changed the bill[protected]th july to 28th oct. 2015 only 5 units and bill show Rs. (-) 6722/- then pervert the customer and 4th bill is chard 140-384 units charged harged amount Rs.[protected]= 5704/- amount this wrong bill charged approx.. 3000/- extra bills. Aprox total Amount 5500/- extra changed. Then Grievance registration on Delhi Jal Board but not give positive feedback and closed my complaints. Please sole my problem.                               My bill dated 10th Jan'16 for K.No:[protected] is Rs.854. my consumption is usually only in between 10 to 20 units for two months as only my MOM stays there. So since there is no water consumption, there should be no bill, since its 500lts free water in delhi now.So why such a high bill for 51 UNITs is charged?My bill no. is[protected]

                              Second thing, no body came to check the meter reading then on what behalf this huge bill is generated and for what meter reading you're charging for ?...

                              Please send some reliable person and compare my meter last reading to current reading.

                              Also you can see my bill history of last year. I never consumed 51 units then why you charged for 51 units. It should be 15 or 20 units. PLS INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER.

                              And last thing, I never get bill's hard copy. I have to online check my bill. Why don't you generate and deliver bill's hard copy to my address???

                                  My bill dated 15th Dec for K.No:[protected] is Rs.1036.67., where as noone stays in that house, as my mom who stayed there has expired.So ideally since there is no water consumption, there should be no bill, since its 500lts free water in delhi now.So why such a high bill is charged?My bill id is[protected].

                                    Sir/Madam I am one of the residents of H Block, Gali No 16, Jagat Prui, Delhi -51 which is in East Delhi. The water supplied in this area is extremely dirty and smelly water from past 4 days which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It seems it is coming from sewerage line. Please help us in this matter since it is becoming a serious issue. Further this is a regular phenomena that we get such quality water. We complain and it is temporarily fixed. We request you to fix it permanently to avoid any casualty. Thanks.
