Respected Sir, I am a resident of Triveni Apartments, Jhilmil Colony, which comes under district Shahdara .Our area is suffering from very poor water quality which smells like sewer water and is black in colour.I suspect some pipeline of the DJB has been busted somewhere near a sewer causing the problem. Please help us in this matter since its a very serious issue and has a potential to turn into an epidemic. We hope that our government and DJB will take some strict action in this matter so that people will have safe drinking water to drink. Hello sir, My name is ravi ahuja. I live in uttam nagar viashwas park som bazar road. Here water supply come on one day gap regular but we need daily water. but last 10 days no water supply in our area when i complain to JE he says when relesed water from nagloi than i will give water other wise on option. I had submitted my applications dated 22/03/2014 and 05/04/2014 vide Diary no.8103 dt. 22/03/2014 and 131 dated 05/04/2014 to Delhi Jal Board Office, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi regarding correction in my water bill no.[protected] dated 17/03/2014 which was wrongly issued for Rs.37536/- whereas I had paid all my previous bills. I had paid my last bill on 09/01/2014 for Rs.387.36 whereas next bill was issued extremely high for Rs.37536/-.

I had also submitted my request at D.O.R. Jhandewalan on 18/06/2014 vide diary no.9365 dated 18/06/2014 in this regard but till date no action has been taken for correction of my said bill.

It is again requested to get my above bill corrected so that I may remit my actual bill amount.

Your early response shall be highly appreciated.

Dear Sir /Madam,
1. Please refer my earlier letter dated 7th May 2014 regarding non-receipt of bills.
2. I have three water connections (New KNO Nos. – [protected]; [protected] and [protected]) for the three floors in the premises of R-568, New Rajinder Nagar.
3. I am getting my regular bills for my New KNO no. [protected] (19 Oct 2013, 15 Jan 2014, Mar 2014 and the last one dated 13 Jun 2014) which have been paid also. However, I have got only first bill for
the new KNO: [protected] dated 29 Nov 2013 (Amount-2300) so far.
4. The last bill generated for the New KNO no. [protected] was dated 21 Aug 2013 (Amount is -9170) and the same was being shown on the DJB website also. This was because I had paid Rs 33, 995 0n 17 Apr 2013
(all the arrears in full) and got the rebate. However, I have got another bill on this connection dated 13 Jun 2014 of Rs 32, 281/- of which Rs 30, 365 is shown as arrears. This is highly irregular.
5. It is requested that the abovementioned bill for new KNO No. [protected] dated 13 Jun 2014 be rectified and the corrected bill be issued at the earliest.

Myself Mrs. Reba Shee R/O, 19/14, Block A-1, Bengali Colony, Sant Nagar, Burari want to lodge a complaint against DJB for not receiving water bill from Apr 2013 till date. My K No. is [protected]. Please look into the matter on serious note and do the needful to send the water bill till date.

This complaint is against the Delhi Jal Board who is not taking their responsibility seriously. We are facing lot of issues pertaining to water in our area. The water comes with Dirty-Sewerage-Smell which is really pungent. My whole family has already been suffered from the serious diseases due to contamination of water supplied by Delhi Jal board.

Sometimes but rarely I have also noticed water with dirty color coming in our water taps.

We have faced lot of health issue due to the dirty water supplied by the Delhi Jal Board. Due to many complaints and calls to customer care services also the issuee has not been resolved. Please look into this issue so that at least we can have a healthy life.

We are getting the dirty water with the smell everyday.

Dear Madam/Sir, This is really unfortunate to report in this modern era of growth and development of India that people are suffering due to lack of availability minimum facilities for the citizen of India, that too right in the capital of our great country. There is no water in the pipeline, even simple motor is not able to get water to household. Infants, children and elderly are the people who are suffering the most. There is no way visible to seek help. This situation is dark that may result in drastic affect on the residents' health, mind and spirits. Kindly help us by showing a way to get at least water to drink with little peace of mind. I am not sure, if anybody reads this board. But, if you read this message, and think you can help a common man and family with limited means, please say so. Even if you can not help in resolution, say so. At least, we know that there will be no help from anybody. A law abiding citizen. With respect, we want to draw your kind attention towards the Drinking water leakage and flowing on the main road and this problem facing by 8 Block, Dakshin Puri Extn, New Delhi-110062 on main road (Maharishi Balmiki Marg). We residents in 8/172, 8/173, 8/216 and 8/217 Dakshin Puri Extn, New Delhi. In this area the water leakage on the road due to leakage of main drinking water line and overflowing of water in front of our houses and flowing on the road. Sr officers or Jr Officers from Delhi Jal Board are normally passing on this road but no one is taking care about this. All the people are facing problem for crossing the road and passing for the street due to flowing of water. Due to this it can be cause of dangerous for building which are surrounding of these leakage. Besides it has damage the road and also wastage of drinking water. We also complained to your office but nobody have taken any action about this problem. It is therefore requested that the concerned officer may be directed to immediately attend and do the needful to avoid which may stop the leakage and overflow water from line and repair the water line and damaged road.

I am a resident of sandesh vihar, pitam pura, delhi 110034. My KNO number for delhi jal board water billing is [protected] My previous bill which i received 7 months back for a duration of 2 months was Rs. 1245 I have received a bill yesterday of a duration of 7 months with tomorrow as the last date for bill payment. the bill is of Rs. 9533 after adjustment: Rs 9207 which is calculated on the highest slab of rate because of the time period between. It means that we are paying around Rs 5000 extra! It is not fair that you send us the bill after so long and because of your problem or inability to send the bill we have to pay a bill costing us so much. the pipeline at 22/4 A shakti nagar, adjoining Prem nagar Delhi 110007 is leaking which results in leakage of huge amount of water everyday for the last 4 daysand the entire road in front of houses nos 1 to 6 of Block 22, shakti nagar gets flooded turning the road in a river. Complaints made by SMS have remained unresponded. Wonder if you have so much water to waste and cause lots of trouble to tresidents. Request immediate corrective action. Your staff must examine the problem at 6am in the morning.

Dear sir, I am a citizen of Ramayan gali, Pooth Khurd village(near Bawana), Delhi-110039. I would like to bring into your kind notice that in my locality there is a severe wastage of water.some houses have put there personal submersible pumps which leads to wastage of ground water which is illegal also.specially a house uses that running water for every requirement i.e for washing clothes, washing utensils, washing bikes etc. Almost 10-15 personal submersible pumps have been dig out.infact half of the village fulfill there needs by these kind of pumps. I can even provide you with any other information required. I would suggest you to keep a check over it and houses may be fined for this. with a hope that you will look into the matter. eagerly waiting for your reply.. A responsible student

I had observed since last month that the water being supplied in the area is stinking and of a color & odour like sewerage water. The same is affecting the health of the residents of the colony. It is requested to kindly take up the matter on top priority so as to save/protect the health of all the inhabitants of Vishnu Garden area.

I am residing at house no 1281/4, street no.39/8A near M C D school Jafrabad Delhi-110053. We are getting very dirty and foul smelling water for last one month from our Delhi jal board connection. Kindly look into the matter as it may cause epidemic in the area.

This is regarding to excess bill amount received from Delhi Jal Board. Since last year we have been getting excess bill, we have already paid a huge amount as after several complains no action was taken and we were affraid that our water connection would be cut. Since last few months we have been receiving normal bills and last week we again received an excess bill. Only one person lives there that too who is never at home, I m shocked too receive such a huge amount of water.why my bill is increased suddenly without any increase in usage. sir, i am trying to get my new KNO number from the DJB site using my old 2003 water bill... but i am unable to find it. After filling the necessary details from the old bill it prompts "KNO does not exists for the provided details or consumer details might have been transfered to different zone.". To whosoever concerned, This is to bring to your notice that there has been no water supply since the 9th of this month in DDA flats, Taimoor Nagar, New Delhi. I believe there was a complaint launched on 9th itself by the Secretary of Taimoor Nagar RWA too. A tanker with limited supply of water was sent this afternoon but since it was during office hours, many o[censored]s could not benefit from it. Kindly, arrange for water supply immediately or please send tankers after 6 pm. Thank you
