I am a resident of 113 R.P.S. Colony, Opp. Khanpur Bus Depot, New Delhi-110062.The drinking water supply from past few days has been very dirty (black in colour) and smelly (stinking as of sewer). As a result, it cannot be used for any purposes like drinking, washing and cleaning.
It is not only harmful but injurious for our healths...
Kindly check and sort out this problem as soon as possible.

Me and all of my neighbors of my street have been facing acute problem of NON SUPPLY OF WATER for the last two months.

Actually our is a unique problem as the residents of other streets adjacent to our street are getting regular uninterrupted water supply whereas there is no water supply in our street. It seems either pipeline is blocked or otherwise got damaged.

We say that we are suffring problem of drinking water due to not supply by tankar No. DL1C 2424 which is allotted to give water at RZ-I-27 Mahavir Enclave Part -1, near Goel hardware and paints. at the name of Sh Prem chand Thakur.

Sir, tanker driver do not come on the fix days and bring water after 15 to 20 days when we meet the driver personally. He always replies that my tankar was in trouble on that day. I come next day. But after waiting whole day. We do not get water supply after waiting whole day again and again. which hampers our day to day working.

So please consider our problem and order to related officer to solve our problem and make supply of water regularly on the fix day as per norms and oblige us.

I am a business man . I reside in A-2 block Hastal Road Uttam Nagar area of West Delhi. My locality hasn't received supply of clean water since last month. Whatever water has been supplied by DJB is highly contaminated, smelly and has visible impurities. This water is not even fit for washing/cleaning purpose not to say of drinking. And even water is supplied only for 5-10 minutes.Due to this the locality is facing a acute shortage of portable water. There is very likelihood that the residents of this locality develop water borne diseases like diarrhea, jaundice etc. unless immediate remedial measures are taken by the Government.

I have tried to contact the concerned DJB officials through their contact nos. provided in DJB website but i have not been able to contact any of the concerned authorities.
After my contacting LG/Delhi & CM/Delhi's office, your staff members under JE came to the area and said that this areas falls at the tail end and portable water couldnt reach here. Only bore water is avilable at afternoon which is not for drinking. This is not the solution and many of the inhabitants are suffering from water borne diseases.
Kindly help in resolving the problem

Water supplied is mixed with sewer water

Since last 15 days supplied water is mixed with sewer water. It is pale in colour and smells very bad. Itcank be drunk and cant be used for any other household. Municipal corporation is not taking any action on this

The problem is that in the new pipeline the water is contaminated i.e dirty black water like mixing of sewarage. Actually we are getting a very dirty water (mud) in our locality for last month. And its very harmful for everybody. There is regular & continous droppage of water delibrately from the third floor of 7/15, right side, east patel nagar. Because of which ground, 1st and 2nd floor residents of this building are suffering from more than a year. Because of this we, the residents of 2nd floor are the most sufferers as we live just below 3rd floor. There is a huge seapage in our house and danger of elctric current is also there. In the rainy season we suffered a lot as there were mosquitoes all around. We are mentally torchered and disturbed because of this. And the most important thing is that lot of water is wastage in this summer season when there is lot of hue and cry regarding wastage of water. So many questions are being asked to the CM of delhi regarding the same and here is a person is purposefully wasting the scrace available drinking water and mentally torcharing the neighours and no action is being taken inspite of so many complaints regrding the same.

The Police says that its a civil matter and they have nothing to help us. It seems that they too are not bothered about the wastage of scrace available water and expliotation and torcher done by the third floor owner.

Now we are finally forced to write on this AAP KE SUNWAI and really hope that we will be heard of and some serious action will be taken by the department immediately.

Our neighbours are wasting water in the evening after supply water started.

Every day they waste or overflow about 5000 ltrs. of water from their Tanks.
We are just watching them and sometimes told them not to waste so much of water. But no effects on them.

There is one colony just opposite the Delhi Lungs & Heart Institute (DHLI) on Pusa Road. In the very corner building (PERHAPS THREE/FOUR STORE BUILDING) there is a regular water flow on the roof in the morning hours ( around 7 A.M) and in the evening also. I am a daily commuter on this Metro Route and is obvserving daily. A complaint was made earlier also but nothing has been done so far. Can any body imagine that how much water is being wasted on yeraly basis.

There is one building (corner building in this Govt.colony) just opposite Delhi Heart & Lung Institute (DHLI) on Pusa Road Delhi. In this building regular water is being wasted in the morning & evening also as a pipe on the roof over flow foe hours daily. Can any body imagie how much water is wasted annually on this point it self.

On the night of 4 july 2014, water was overflowing from the tank of house no. 6 vikram vihar extension lajpat nagar 4. At least 3000 ltrs of water was wasted. This is not the first time, rather it has become aa regular habbit.
It is highly disturbing that in this hot season, when poor are dying because of lack of water, the resource is being wasted like this. We all know the importance of water. Hence i request you to take STRICT and RIGID action against this negligence and inhuman nature of the owner of the house.

I would like to draw your kind attention, toward the wastage of water. One of house (WZ-257, Basai Dara Pur, New Delhi). Everyday, the tank gets overflow and water flow outside. It is routine habit. Every day, Morning & at Evening, water wasted by the house owner. May be they were using water without water connection. That's why they don't understand the value of this precious water.
Pls. take a serious action on that house owner and cross check, whether they are using paid connection or illegal water usage.

Dear Sir,

Through this mail. I would like to bring to your notice one of the glaring incident of wastage of water.

I am a resident of Karol Bagh, Rehgar Pura. Daily in the morning, I go to Ajmal Khan Park for a morning walk at around 6:30 A.M. I take Desh bandu Gupta Road to go to the park.
There is an under construction building on Desh Bandu Gupta Road(adjacent to address 3384, Christian Colony, Karol Bagh), I daily observe that labour continuously keep water motor switch on even when they are not using the water. Everyday this precious water goes down the drain. The water is wasted in this manner for more than 1.15 hours since even returning from park at around 7:45. I see water is wasted there. i am seeing this wastage atleast for a month now.

Yesterday I requested the labor there that they should keep a Bucket there and switch of motor once it is full, however no one there took it seriously. Today i requested the same bot to no avail.

Not only are they wasting precious natural resource, constructing a bilding from Corporation/underground water is also illegal.
I reqest you to take some urgent action so as to save this wastage of water. Please find below the location of the said building. :

I am Resident of DDA SFS Flats Pocket-1 Dwarka, Everyday there is a huge water wastage from flat number 23, the house is locked & motor keeps on running nonstop, wasting water everyday for atleast 2-3 hours.

Please take an immediate action.

There are several houses in ladosarai nearby madeeasy institute wasting tooo much of water everyday. They used to switch on the motor in the night and it continues till morning. Samething happens in morning also, water motor is on for 6-7 hours. There is no one to take care of it as everyone looking for their comfort zones only including their sleep at night. Please look into this matter.

I am a resident of AM- 197 shalimar bagh. There is a house that faces my building's backside and water keeps overflowing for hours. Several liters of water is wasted everyday & no one keeps a check. I am a resident of DDA SFS pocket of Mount Kailash. This pocket has some flats are in Multi Story Flats and some are four story flats. If we walk in this pocket we note that number of water tanks are overflowing and spreading water all around. My impression is that they are not realizing the real value of this scare resource and or not paying for water.

I am watching from last 6 months, that the residence of L-42 H sheikh sarai phse II never switched off their water moter and there is a great water loss due to this. Morning and evening their their tank overflows atleast 2-3 hrs.

म kirari village मे रहता हूँ. यहाँ पर पानी 1 या 2 दिन छोड़कर आ जाता ह. पहले तो म ये सुझाव देना चाहता हूँ की आप हफ्ते मे 2 वार ही पानी दे तो अछा होगा । दूसरा सबसे ज्याद ध्यान देने वाली बात ये ह की पानी 3-4 घंटे तक लगातर चलता रहता ह. सभी लोग 1 से 1:30 घंटे मे पानी भर लेते हं परन्तु पानी चलता रहता ह तो लोग पानी को बरबाद करना शुरू कर देते हं. गलियों को धोते हं;खुला छोड़ देते हं ;बच्चे नहाते रहते हं ;और तो और पानी को नालियों मे छोड़ देते हं. इसलिए मेरी आपसे प्रार्थना ह कृपा आप इस और थोड़ा ध्यान दें.

Hi everyday resident of 72 saini enclave waste almost an hour of running water. They don't listen to anyone who request them to switch off their motor. Please look into this

I am residing in 12 block east Patel Nagar.

My neighbour In 12/1east Patel Nagar, first floor and second floor wastes a lot of water. They switch on their motors and don’t switch them off. (they have created PGs and don’t bother to check). The ground water is precious and is getting wasted. It overflows every night and day. Plus they don’t even have a covered drainage. The water flows from first floor directly on the ground creating a pool of water next to the road which stagnates and becomes a breeding ground of misquotes.

Even in their terrace their is lot of stagnant/overflowing water. It’s practically full of weeds due to overflowing water. Peepal tree is growing on the third floor due to water seepage in the building.

Please look into the matter at the earliest. It’s disheartening and saddens my heart to see while we conserve each drop in our houses, these irresponsible folks don’t even care that we may not have water in Delhi if they keep wasting it like this.

I am a resident of A-50, paryavaran complex, 3rd floor, IGNOU Road. In my building i see everyday water is being wasted due to overflowing overhead tank. I contacted the owners of the flats to inform him about the issue of wastage of water, but still the problem persists.

Details are as under
Bill no 129908 dated Oct 18, 2008 for Rs. 916/- includes Rs. 581/- as arrears which were paid vide ch. no 827695 on PSBank and cleared. Payment made for remaining amount of Rs. 335/-
Next Bill no 219627 dated Jan 1, 2009 for Rs. 271/- includes Rs. 46/- towards late payment charges of the previous bill. This bill paid for Rs.271/- inclusive of Rs. 46/- vide cheque no 327029 dated January 27, 2009 and cleared by the PSbank.
Again next bill no 264950 dated February 26, 2009 for Rs. 447/- includes Rs.285/- ( 271+14 late fee) that also paid vide ch. no.117382 on March16, 2009.

A total of excess money paid is Rs. 46+271+14= Rs. 331/- for which no adjustment made by the department.

We request for the adjustment of the same in our next bill.

Now I got the above said bill in which only 82 K.l. consumed and the amount is Rs. 1992 which is wrong. Further it is mentioned that categories is C-IA w.e.f. 22.04.2010 whereas my categories is C-I , I cannot be able to understand why this categories has been changed. Is it at the sweet will of the meter-reader for not paying the bribe amount or something else. as the water is only used for domestice purpose.

I have obtained a computer generated water bill for payment amounting to Rs.1, 70, 868/- having no signature of any issuing authority as well showing Meter Status/Reading N/S It is further added that we are only 2 family members i.e. myself & mywife both Sr.Citizen & Retired living here. The bill has been given for the period 1) 26.03.2012 to 07.06.2012 (73 days)= Rs 65593/- & 07.06.2012 to 17.09.2012 (102 days)= Rs 1, 60, 542/- which are very much on the higher side. Earlier, , date of Reading 26.03.2012, Meter Status O.K. vide bill No. 939539 dated 07.04.2012 was given with Meter Reading 201 units, amounting to Rs.300/- under the computerised signature of Sh.D.Verma, Director (Revenue) Jal, which was paid by me accordingly. estonishingly the current bill is very much in the Higher side, whereas current Meter Reading is 548 units. Yesterday recieved water bill of amount Rs. 1800 from my Owner period written on bill is from July to Dec'10.Actually i already paid water bill of 3 Month period from July - Oct.'10 . then why again got the bill of previous paid period bill + addition of 2 month [ Nov- dec. ].
