The supply of water in morning from 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM is very limited and that too water is dirty and contaminated and cannot be used from last 2 weeks

      Mutation of water bill to owner's name not done yet

      Address: Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi

      Dear Sir,

      I have applied for mutation/name change in favour of the owner who is my cousin. The KNO No. is [protected]. I have personally visited & applied physically at the office on 12 March 2021 at Mukherjee Nagar Branch of DJB.

      Still, I am getting a water bill in my name just like the old bills. I was told that the process would be completed in 20 days but it seems it is not done yet. I am unable to track...

      The house in front of mine waste lots of water daily without any reason. They cleaning the roads in-front of their home daily .They daily wash their floor and front gate road there is no garden or anything but huge amount of water just goes to waste. and put the garbage back in the drains with water which causes blocking in the drain. since water wastage in huge level please initiate action as soon as possible. details of her are given below-

      I am residence of B Block bunkar colony Ashok Vihar phase 4, opposite jhalkari bai community hall. A man is running vehicle washing business in his ground floor which is illegal in terms of sewage blockage and water wastage and commercial activity in residential area. For this we have raised many complaint and even called to Jal board officers and police station as well but nothing has happened till now and no body is taking action against him.

      So please take some serious action and stop this illegal activity and save the water. For reference and as a proof I am sharing images of the activities and sharing his address as well B Block 764 Bunkar colony asho vihar delhi 110052

        Hi I would like to escalate a complaint to the authorities responsible in Mira Road for consumer rights. We live in Mira Road. We are facing acute water shortage. Due to BMC water shortage we do not get water every alternate day. In such a situation we have no choice but to buy water from water suppliers. They charge us Rs 300 for 500 ltrs of water and that too filthy and dirty water. In this threatening time of pandemic we are forcible exposed to danger by using this contaminated water since we have no choice. Very pathetic situation in Mira Road. Please help us at least to get get clean water for which we are paying each day Rs.300/- and help us to keep our families safe in Covid times.

          Dear Sir,

          This is regarding high water bill charges. Please refer to the subjected consumer number and attached bill for details. We have been charged Rs. 17733 from Nov'20 to Mar'21.

          We didn’t have the meter installed earlier, until 26-NOV-2020 we were getting bills on random/ approx basis from DJB and we paid them on time. All of a sudden bills were not being sent to us as we haven't received anything (paper bill or ebill) post Nov'20 and we cross checked in neighbourhood. No one had recieved and thought it could be a delay at your end, as during Covid-19 rules are changing every now & then across India. Now, in Mar'21 we got a bill of Rs. 17733 since Nov'20, which a huge amount.

          Its my humble request to please look into the matter. How is that possible that since Nov'20 we are charged this much? You can see the average consumption of previous bills, we never used this much. Since, we didn't receive anything on a monthly basis; How is this bill justified. Since, the time DJB has installed a meter we got such a high bill. Hope you understand SIr, during this crucial time of pandemic across the country how difficult it is to pay bills.

          It seems like the meter is not giving the correct reading or probably its little fast. We have requested the DJB Vasant Enclave office to re-check. To which they have asked us to pay Rs. 150. We have never heard anyone charging to re-check if the meter is working fine. It's not about Rs. 150 but, I wanted to bring to your notice if the right process is being followed for consumers.

          Please help in getting the meter & current bill rechecked; so, we can get some leverage on the total amount. My dad is retired & its only my sister & I are working. Like every Indian or human being we are also trying to manage daily household activities. Trying as much as possible and to pay this much seems very difficult. Considering the free units there is definitely something incorrect.

              SINCE TWO YEARS, I AM PAYING HIGH BILLS FOR DJB WATER METER USAGE. E.G. last bill was Rs. 4700 for only 2 months for march - may 2021. i have paid rs, 20000/- in the last 1.5 year as water bill. though we are a family of two people and use only one bucket of water per day. but the units show that we have used 20000 K L per day. DJB vice president please explain this.

              upon enquiring in DJB, it is intimated that my water meter is running very fast and it must be checked.

              why this anomaly when the meter is L&T automatic brand?????

                  The above water meter was stolen from my premises between the night of 22nd May and wee hours of 23rd May 2021. A formal FIR has been lodged with the Delhi Police vide FIR NO.SED-LN-000200 dated[protected].

                  Please let me know the formalities involved in installing another meter so that water is available to me.

                    I have received a message regarding water bill of Rs. 8203, today, i.e.29.05.2021 against KNo. [protected]. This is to inform you that nobody came at my house for meter reading since last 3 years approximately and without any meter reading and in which basis you generated the bill. Kindly rectify the same at the earliest. So that rectified bill may be deposited accordingly.

                          It is submitted that I was allowed two new connections bearing kh no [protected] and kh no [protected] in the name of Rahul and Dharamwati in 2020. But these connection are not being used till date due to not completion of floors. I have not use these connection for water till date. Even then I have received bills of rs 4540 for each connections which are completely wrong. No meter has installed against these two connections. And no water has been used by these connections. You are kindly requested to look into this matter I m not able pay such bills.

                            Water connection (K No. [protected])

                            Meter reader has not come to our premises & now we found a bill dated 23-May 2021 amounting to Rs.469/- (for the period from 14-March-21 to 23th May 2021 with 13KL consumption) due for payment on 09June 2021.

                            The consumption has been averaged and Reading/Meter status has been shown as MLOC (Meter locked). The status of Reading is shocking to me as we have 4 Families always present in the premises.

                            Nobody has come for meter reading and the status has been shown as MLOC which seems to be a bogus activity.

                              My name is Nitin gupta lives in kirari delhi. There are water supply problem since last more than 3 months and I have complained so many times through different-2 modes but there is no solution of this problem.
                              Our area JE pankaj kumar(contact no. [protected]) is not responding to it . I called him many times message him mail him etc. But he didn't do anything.

                                    I received the message for creating my bill through self billing facility through DJB app. Using this app I had created the bill whose details are below:

                                    Bill no.[protected], dated 27.05.2021 KNo. [protected].

                                    Here the billing reading which was 1789.641 had been captured as 1789641. & thus created billing for Value INR. 12, 56, 65, 937 which is a wrong billing.

                                    This can be viewed from the photo of bill uploaded while self generating bill. The same is enclosed here below for quick reference.

                                    I had tried to raise the grievance through DJB App but could not raise it through App. Photo of snapshot showing error is also enclosed
