    Hi sir/madam,

    This is to inform you that we are getting dirty and black drinking water from tape every day in my locality h. Flat no.104, k-642, indra park, street no.9 palam colony, near railway line, new delhi 110045. This water is so dirty that it smells really bad. I have never expected that the quality of water that delhi jal board. This worst quality of water causing many hazardous problems on our health and it is specially affecting our children's health. This problem is not limited to me as it is also affecting my neighbors family.

    I am raising this concern to you as i believe it will addressed asap by helping us in getting good quality of drinking water from delhi jal board. Request you to address it asap as it is making our living very difficult.

      This is to inform you that four water connections have been installed in my home, whose meter numbers are: [protected] [protected] [protected] [protected].

      The bills against above four meters were related to me, and there are no pending payments required to be paid for these connections & everything are clear. I would like to bring your notice that some of the bills which are being sent to me wrongly at my address and

      They are not pertained to me as per below details :1. K no. [protected], bill no.[protected] dated 14.01.2020 for rs.14, 246.00 - wrong bill 2. K no.[protected], bill no.[protected] dated 06.09.2015 for rs.2901.43 - wrong bill 3. K no.[protected], bill no.[protected] dated 23.09.2016 for rs.3607.53 - wrong bill.

      Because of these wrong bills, unnecessary confusion are happening and i have also visited many times to your office located at kakrola morh and made complaints to resolve the issue, however, yet no positive response have been received.

      You are requested to investigate the matter and wrong bills which are showing in my account may be removed at the earliest.
      An urgent action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.

        I am a resident of gali no. 12, ashok nagar, main wazirabad road, delhi-110093.

        There is a man in our street running an "illegal bike washing centre" and he washes the bikes with drinking water (Tap water) and u can guess how much water is wasted.

        People in india don't have water for drinking and this guy is washing bikes with it. Pathetic!!

        Water: the elixir of life
        Essay on water conservation - it is said that around 3.7 billion years ago, the earth cooled down and had warm oceans.in these warm water bodies, the first single-celled organisms evolved. Thus, water was instrumental in the origin of life. 70% of the earth is covered with water, and up to 70% of the human body is made of water. Today we have millions of marine species, but many plants and animals evolved to survive in non-saline conditions.

        The human civilization rose on the banks of rivers. Early human beings settled down along the fertile river basins as it was easy for growing crops, and was convenient for transportation too. Presently, agriculture demands for 70% of the freshwater needs. Industries and domestic uses share the rest thirty percent. But this precious resource has become scarce due to many human-made reasons.

        Water scarcity
        Only three percent of the total water available is freshwater. But more than sixty percent of this potable water is locked up in ice caps and glaciers. Therefore, we humans must consume water judiciously. But so far, we have done the reverse. We exploit water extensively for agriculture and industrial purposes.

        Moreover, we haven't kept our water bodies clean. Industrial effluents and sewage discharges are directly let into rivers.in cities, buildings come up on dried ponds and lakes. So, when it rains, we don't have the facility to store the rainwater. Therefore, we not only have frequent flash floods, but the rainwater goes to the sea and gets wasted. We use the fertile soil from riverbeds carelessly, and it leads to flooding in riverine areas too. So, we humans are primarily responsible for reducing the holding capacity of water bodies.

        We live in concrete jungles, and a green cover is almost missing in our cities. It is the roots of trees that help in retention of groundwater. Moreover, plants release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. Thus, they are instrumental in curbing global warming. Lesser warming implies a slower melting of ice sheets and glaciers, thereby, preserving the largest source of freshwater. Floods and storms are natural events, but nature has its way of replenishing the water that flows into the seas. But we humans have a history of clearing up forests for various purposes like agriculture, industrialization, and human settlements.

          Respected sir/madam
          I got installed a new water meter in the month of september 2019 by delhi jal board employee with k no: [protected]. I have received a water bill of rs. 9217 with bill period of 5/10/19 to 7/12/19 (I. E 2 months). There is not any previous balance or pending amount.
          I have a 200 litre water tank only. I do not live here full time. There is neither cooking nor clothes washing type of household work involved.
          Kindly have a look into this matter.

            I yogesh kumar member at anytime fitness pusa road, new delhi. I joined this fitness centre on 10.11.2019. I heard a very high of you. But it is disgusting as many a time requested to use the tv for tv news in reply your well educated trainer asked that he has no knowledge of operating tv and he wont help in any case. I asked him should i contact to your management then the said he is least bothered, and challenged me you may complaint to any superior and he would not use the tv. I took annual membership but the kit has not yet been provided till date.
            Is this treatment to a upcoming new member. I have initiated my all friend circle to joint any time. But such behavior of your staff will hurt the other members.

              Hello,

              Today i received incorrect water bill of
              Rs 7098. As per customer care my usage is 137 units for two months. Then is came to know from customer executive that the reading i have been charged is incorrect i. E. Instead of 2895 unit reader noted for 2995 unit which means 100 unit extra.

                This is to inform you that we are getting contaminated drinking water from tape since last few days at my locality at b-3/9, janakpuri, new delhi-110058. This water is so dirty that it giving fouls smells & really bad. It seems water is coming from drain and colour of water is also dirty i have never expected that the quality of water supplied by delhi jal board is going down day by day. This worst quality of water causing many hazardous problems on our health and it is specially affecting our children's health. This problem is not limited to me as it is also affecting my neighbour’s family.

                    I made a complaint (Complaint no. 172) for blockage of sewer.
                    The complaint was attended after a weeks time but of no use. On inquiring, it was told to me that mr. Sagar, engineer, is looking for this. After getting in touch with him, he informed me that the complaint was attended within a day. But sorry to inform you that next day no one has attended the complaint. The complaint was attended on 07.02.2020 but the problem still exists. As 8th/9th february was holiday so i contacted mr. Sagar on 10th february, 2020 around 3.30 pm and he was very rude just like he is doing my personal work.

                    Mr. Sagar is a public servant and he has not giving me any favour but he is doing his duty nothing else.

                    You are requested to please look into the matter.

                      bad odour and taste in water.

                      This is to inform you that from over a month we are getting contaminated water. Water supplied to our home has an unpleasant odour, taste and colour. Water in taps of bathrooms to kitchen is in the same degraded condition. The worst part is that the drinking water even after being filtered has the bad smell and taste. This has also caused my family stomach infections. I don't know what is the cause but i expect you to look into the matter...

                          My KNo is [protected]. I submitted my complaint to 1916 (customer care number) on date 24 Jan 2020. He provided me complaint no. i.e[protected] and assured me my complaint will close with in 12 hour.
                          Today is 2 Feb 2020 my complaint still pending .we are suffering from dirty water which comes from DJB nobody resolved my complaint. Today once again I called customer care number 1916 to check my complaint status .He replied JE changed that's why complaint will not resolve it will resolve on 4 Feb. He give the JE name and number i.e. Mr. Vikas Tomar and [protected]. I called to Mr. Vikas but no one received the call at that mobile number.
                          Kindly take the action we are suffering from dirty water uses for bath, drinking etc. Water is very necessary for daily activities.I hope my complaint will resolve as soon as possible.

                          The pipe laying work at Greater Kailash 2 (M-Block) has halted for more that 1 month. The road had not been fixed/tarred or leveled after laying the pipes. As a results the the roads are extremely muddy during the rains and dusty at other times.
                          My supply water is polluted in few months. Please solve my water problem.

                              Dear sir our concern is our consumption in 17/08/19 to 14/01/2020 is 82 units of delhi jal board total month is approx 5 as per delhi jal board 20kl water are exempted so why our bill come because 82/5=16.4kl so our monthly consumption is 16.4kl and why delhi jal board make monthly bill because we facing a problem like this and i am wrong regarding this so how please solved our problem as soon as possible. Any clarification all bill is online.

                              I, vipin Kumar living in gali no. 9, A Block, meet nagar, delhi 110094. There is no water supply from past two days. Daily basis works such as cooking food, washroom uses, cleaning, drinking etc not happening. Please look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible taking up as TOP PRIORITY.
                              We people are leaving in Acharya Niektan, Mayur vihar ph-1 area of New delhi. We are facing the problem of supply water from 4 days. Supply is not done by delhi jal board. We complaint many times and they are giving the excuse that today you supply water. The condition is very bad in this area due to water scarcity.
                              Main sewage line is blocked from few days and th e water coming out.
                              some are having big issue by that because logged in their shops
                              So please send your team you resolve this asap.

                                  I am a very senior citizen and the rented flat i am occupying remains locked for the last more than 8 years and being a widower and alone i am now staying with my daughter. Hence no electricity or water is consumed. On the basis of my representation to the zro old rajendra nagar vide my letter dated 22.08.2014 (Diary no.2193 dt.22.8.2014) i was treated as zero consumption category of consumer and the bills for the subsequent periods upto 26.06.2015 were prepared indicating zero consumption of water and i was also informed on 22.8.2014 that i being a very senior citizen that i need not take the trouble of visiting the office on this account as all future bills will be raised on this basis. I was out of delhi for about three months from sseptember, 2015 to november 2015 and quite to my surprise i received a sms that rs.3774/- is due from me which is totally incorrect and unjustified as i neither lived in the premises nor used even a drop of water. I made the complaints through the indian complaint board forum on 15.11.2016 22.3.2017, 5.4.2017and subsequently also and up to now no action is taken by the delhi jal board to rectify the wrong billing which is mounting at the end of every billing circle.. Even the persons who consume water are treated as zero consumption category up to 20 kl per month. Now the delhi government has notified an amnesty scheme to waive all the penalties and surcharges.in view of my old age and unable to meet in person the zro i am sending my complaint online like the previous complaints and now i request you to take immediate steps to rectify the wrong billings and treat me as zero consumption category as in the past.                                     I am one of the resident of yudhister street main road vishwas nagar shahdara delhi which comes under the shahdara area. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for drinking, washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from gutter. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and might be made some persons hospitalised.br...

                                    I lived in naraina vihar dda flat. Your pipe line is leakage on the roads from your pumping house from 30 days. There is no one who can see to it. Whole water is leakage on the road it creats problem for the residents. Please see to the matter rather in few days denge and malaria creats problem. Please take immediate action.
