I have submitted my representation to Zonal Revenue Officer (ZRO (W), SW-III, ), Delhi Jal Board, R.K. Puram, New Dellhi-110022 regarding immediate replacement of faulty meter against my KNO: [protected] vide your receipted Dy NO. 5694 dated 14.03.2015. Till date I have not received any intimation from Delhi Jal Board with regard to installation new meter to my house address 159, Type-IV, Sector-3, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110022. Due to faulty meter I have been receiving highly inflated water bills that are not justifiable considering our water consumption pattern since 2011. Kindly arrange to excess payment made by me during 2011 to 2013 and the benefit of free water supply upto 20KL per month with effect from 1st March, 2015. Awaiting your early reply. Thanks T. MOST URGENT REMINDER

This in continuation of my earlier complaint dated 31 March, 2015 regarding immediate replacement of my faulty meter against my KNO: [protected] vide your receipted Dy No. 5694 dated 14.03.2015. Till date I have not received any intimation from Delhi Jul Board with regard to installation new meter to my house address 159, Type-IV, Sector-3, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110022. Due to faulty meter I have been receiving highly inflated water bills that are not justifiable considering our water consumption pattern since January 2011. As a honest, law -abiding and God- fearing citizen, I have already explained my family i.e. myself and my wife since 2011 and the water faulty meter and replace the same to Kind Attention: Mr.D.Verma, Director (Revenue), Delhi Jal Board, Varunalaya, Karol Bagh vide my letter dated 29th January 2011 and duly receipted vide Dy No.1056 dated 2.2.2011and subsequently intimated to ZRO, SW-III, Delhi Jal Board, R.K. Puram, New Delhi 110022 receipted vide your dairy NO 14174 dated 25/2/2012 and subsequently a reminder explaining highly inflated water bills that are not justifiable considering our family (two members) water consumption pattern. I have also lodged complaint on your customer care ph no. 1916 on 28/04/2015 and I have received, complaint no.[protected]. on my mobile. I have shocked and surprised to note that my neighbouring quarters are receiving nil payment ( after allowing 20kl free water supply ) whereas I have been charged inflated bills i.e. Rs. 670/- and the latest payment of Rs. 528 ( without giving any free water supply according to my family consisting of two members ) which is due for payment on 6th June 2015.


During 2011 to 2015 the Delhi Jal Board has replaced faulty meters in so many residences of R.K Puram whereas my faulty water meter has not been replaced with the result I have been put to heavy financial burden and also without receiving 20KL free water supply even though the water consumption of water was below 5 KL. It appears that DJB has not adopted any proper system in replacing the faulty meters.

In view of the above kindly do the following immediately :-
1. Kindly get the faulty water meter replaced immediately.
2. Kindly give free 20 KL water supply as per the announcement of Delhi Government on the basis of of our water consumption and adjust the excess payment made by me in future bills.


If I do not receive any favourable reply on my above genuine representation within 15 days, I will have no other option but to approach Competent Authority of DJB, RTI including judiciary with relevant documents to redress my genuine grievances.

Please find enclosed my letter dated 25th February, 2015 to Delhi Jal Board requesting to install new water meter as the letter mentioned the bill no 278048 dated 10/02/2012 for Rs. 1, 000/- (Bills subject to adjustment) showing the meter reading as 6561 stopped 29/08/2011.
