Subject:- Incorrect/Average water meter reading with bogus remarks as MLOC.
Dear Sir,
I am user of water connection (with KNO: [protected] (Zone/MR Code: WZ2/ 309/METERED, Area Code: A-5/Punjabi Bagh, Consumer Category: CAT I), from Delhi Jal Board, for supply of clean water to my flat No.8/27, IIIrd Floor, Ramesh Nagar, New Delhi-110015. On receipt of a message on my Mobile on 22/03/2021, I downloaded the water bill from DJB site and found a bill No.[protected] dated 8th March, 2021, due for payment for an amounting of Rs.4, 755/- (For the period from 19th Jan, 2021 to 8th March, 2021(including an arrears of Rs.3, 763/-) with due for payment up to 25th March, 2021. To my dismay, the consumption has been averaged and reading/meter status is shown as MLOC (Meter locked). It is shocking to me that I or my wife were very much present at home and nobody has come for meter reading during this period, but the status of meter is shown as MLOC which seems to be bogus and imaginary. We are only two members (husband & wife) staying at the above flat and our two children live out of Delhi due to their Job. Our consumption of water is bare minimum and never exceeded the exempted limit of 20KL per month and therefore so far receiving NIL bills for quite some time. But to my dismay, this time DJB have sent this average/imaginary Bill to me. The copy the DJB Bill and our recent Tata Power DDL Electricity Bills are attached showing our consumption level of electricity and DJB water consumption.
