Delhi Police — suspicious about the fraudulent in a consultancy services

My wife had applied for a job in shine.com (Online portal) she received a call from mr. Aman [protected] to report on the below address
J-56 lajpat nagar part 3 exit moolchand metro gate no 1 near max hospital & gupta market bus stand gate no 4.
When we reached there it was a temporary (Setup) office and people were clueless of what to be done.
There were a couple of interviews and we were asked to pay 1500 as registration charges with an assurance that it will be reimbursed if my wife is not selected. However, after a wait of half an hour, they said she is selected she can expect the offer letter by saturday from jaypee construction.
Kindly advise me on further process
