Delhi Transport Corporation [DTC] — Ticket Checker snatched my phone and forcibly issued challan to me

I am working as Assistant Director at Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and my office (Manak Bhawan) is at ITO.

Everyday I take DTC bus to go from my residence (Pandav Nagar) to ITO. Similarly today (i.e.[protected] I boarded the DTC Bus (DLIPC[protected]Kamla market)) and booked ticket from mother dairy to ITO ring road, as shown in the Chartr app. However, bus took the left turn after delhi secretariat, took the different route than mentioned in the app. Earlier whenever I boarded the 307 route bus to go the ring road, bus takes right turn after the ITO signal.

When I enquired about this, someone in the bus told me that Blue colored 307 bus goes from that ITO ring road route and this one doesn't. But in the app it showed, it will go to ITO ring road. However, when I came to know about this, i started booking new ticket i.e. from Delhi secretariat to Ambedkar Stadium, but some ticket checkers boarded the bus at the same time and started checking ticket. When they came to me, I showed them my first ticket (i.e. from mother dairy to ITO ring road), and suddenly they snatched my phone when I am in the process of booking another ticket (i.e. from Delhi secretariat to Ambedkar Stadium). And then they suddenly started shouting that I am without ticket and forcibly fined me Rs. 200/-. I tried to explain them my situation but they just didn't listened and forcibly frame me for being ticketless as if some targets they have to complete for collecting fines. As Iw as getting late for the office, I didn't argue much and paid the fine.

In the above incident, following things should be noted:
1. Bus didn't take the desired route as mentioned in the app. Bus didn't even go to ITO ring road.
2. Ticket checkers snatched my phone and didn't allowed me to book the onward ticket.

I am a daily commuter of DTC busses to go to my office and I have proof for the same in the form of DTC bus tickets in my chartr app. I have never travelled without ticket and neither I was doing the same today. But the ticket checkers forcibly fined me for the same.

In this regard, you are kindly requested to take a look into this matter and refund my Fined amount i.e. Rs. 200/-, as in this case I was not at fault.
