Den Networks — unwilling and careless attitude of customer care to help in changing the plan

I recharged my broadband for 6 months on 15th june 20 with 20mbps speed plan. However, due to frequent calls and continuous work from home, the speed is not enough to cover my professional commitments. I reached out to their customer care twice and asked them to help me upgrade my plan by charging anything extra that is to be paid for the renewed plan. They clearly refused to help and said that no money will be adjusted if i want a changed plan. The money for 6 months 20mbps will be forfeited and the entire charges for new plan will be charged. Not sure how at all it makes sense and considering these tough work from home situations, how can a company not support these kind of changes.
