DHL — customs on my parcel

I got a 65$ gift card from my employer which i used on online shopping. Some of the amount was the gift card and some i bought myself just so i get free shipping from the website.
For 80$ total value they are charging125$ customs. How is the custom charges more than the value of the parcel itself.

My couriers are not giving my order no [protected] I will provide him electric bill aadhar card pan card bank statement etc by mistake my address is Samthing wrong and they are saying give me some address proof so I humbly request to you teke action
