DHL Express India — Demand of import duty ,IGST

Our daughter has sent photo album of marriage n face creams vide HAWB no [protected] .n your office has sent invoice DEL474806 demanding import duty of Rs12590.96, Rs13950.78 asIGST n Rs 1259.10 as SW charges, disbursement fees of 695.92 plus IGST iof Rs125.10 .which is self generated invioice n no proof of payment being made .The value of the good is £200, n £ 250 has been been pre paid as freight .The goods were insured for Rs400£ ..The import duty would be on value of the goods only n would not include freight n insurance value .We have applied under RTI act to get details of levies n payment allegedly made by you without our knowledge n consent n it could not be arbitrary .This is notice to you to deliver package and in case we are to approach authorities for redress keep the package in safe custody as couriier as album is invaluable to us .We are also proposing to initiate legal action in USA too.The import duty on gift on creams is app 40% and books 5% only and by no stretch of imagination it would be about Rs29000/- that is 200% of the value of goods .You are a courier n entrusted with goods to deliver and not lay fraudulently claim and we were neither consulted nor asked to consent for this .Hope you would resolve this within a day or so n not hearing positively from you we will be cinstrianed to intiate legal action and also on media to High light our grievances n your business deal .please
