I am writing to report a series of deceptive and fraudulent practices by the Domino’s Pizza outlet in Ambernath, Thane. This involves not only the failure to deliver an order but also the active manipulation of the delivery system and subsequent harassment.
Chronology of Events:
Repeated Cancellations: My first order was cancelled without reason. My second order was cancelled after a delivery person insisted I change my delivery pin code.
The OTP Scam: During my third attempt, a female representative from the store called to say they could not deliver to my area. She claimed she needed an OTP from me to process my cancellation and refund.
Fraudulent Completion: Relying on her instructions, I shared the OTP. The store then used this OTP to mark the order as "Delivered" on the app, despite no food being sent.
Evasion and Harassment: Since this occurred, I have attempted to contact the store multiple times to resolve the refund. The staff is now intentionally hanging up my calls as soon as I identify myself, refusing to provide any assistance or process the refund they initially promised.
Resolution Requested:
Immediate Full Refund of the order amount.
Strict Disciplinary Action against the ulhasnagar outlet for using OTPs to falsify delivery records (Performance Fraud).
