Domino's Pizza — unethical behaviour

Sir/mam,

I am capt pravin viswanathan from the indian navy presently posted in secunderabad. I am a regular customer of domino's for several years now. You can check the record (My mobile number is [protected]).

I am writing this email with respect to the highly unprofessional attitude of your asr rao nagar branch here in secunderabad.

I ordered pizzas through your online app and paid an amount of 622. The order (Order number 140) was accepted, the money debited and i also received the message saying that you can track your order in the following link.

Consequently i get a call from mrs jyoti, saying that they cannot deliver to my house (They have been delivering to the same residence all these days without any problem) as it is more than eight minutes. She is not able to explain why then the app accepted my order. I had guests at home, so i told her in case you are not able to deliver within the eight minutes, take the normal 30 minutes that you deliver.. But she in turn tells me either to pick up or to cancel the order and your money will be refunded in seven to ten days..

Is this the way that customers who have ordered via your own app (And not via swiggy or zomato) etc are treated. You accept orders, debit the amount and then say that you cannot deliver.

This is extremely poor service and un professional behavior. She further tell me note down the phone number of her manager, for which i refuse saying why should speak to somebody for my pizzas.. Then she says her manager will call me.. I haven't revived any call from him till now..

I ask her is this my fault that your app accepted my order, she says yes the app is at fault.. Then why have they cancelled my order without me saying so..

I get a message your order is on the way.. Then i get a message your order is cancelled.. Who has cancelled the order.. Least is the restaurant manger should have given me a call

I intend to take this matter to all possible levels in all the possible ways as it was hugely embarrassing for me and my family.. I as a dad couldn't answer my daughter repeated questions when will the pizzas come..

For a customer like us is this the way the company treats us..

And please note.. Please advise mrs jyothi to speak to her customers properly.. We as defence officers like to extend our respect to all.. But it does not take much time to answer them back in case it is not given. Courtesy demands reciprocity.
