My advice to anyone would be NOT to consult Dr Suby Arora Dermatologist, Manipal Hospital. This advice comes after my experience I am narrating here:
-I have spend 15K on endless tests and cross department consultations he recommended to rule out a condition just in its very initial stage.
-If you would ask him to explain the condition you are suffering from, he will hand over a leaflet to you and say "Go back home and read it for yourself" (which doctor on earth says that after charging 400/- for consultation). He will copy paste the treatment in his computer to be printed as prescription.
-His primary agenda is to mint money and NOT the well fare of the patient - he will push the treatment, like even recommending ointment for external application that need not depend on blood reports, for the next visit. He will NOT give you advice as a reliable doctor who would ideally suggest to wait before starting on advanced treatment for a problem in its early stage. Rather he can go on to recommend you to visit his clinic, if not Manipal, for 3 sessions per week on alternate days.
-And not the least, he will prescribe only the costliest of the medicines even if it is not doing well on drug counters.
Please beware of the doctors of this kind.

I went to see Dr. Suby Arora Dermatologist in september 2014. (www.skindelhi.com) I paid Rs. 800 for his consultation. When i was ushered in he was looking inside his mobile.He did not make eye contact with me to see me.When I started to tell him my problem he cut me short and said what is the problem now. When I showed him the problem he wrote down the condition in my prescripion.It read Prurigo Nodularis. He told me to deposit a further Rs.4000 so that he can do a biopsy and confirm his observation. I told him I cannot afford a further Rs. 4000 and if he would be kind enough to write the medicine based on his observation. I am willing to try. But he refused. He said he will not write any medicine unless he does a biopsy. I walked out with an empty prescription. Needless to say Dr.Vijay Kumar I think is a money minded doctor.He cheated me by taking consultation fee & didn't prescribe any medication.

Dear Sir,
I had taken my mother to a dermatologist named Dr suby arora lucknow. He had given a injection to my mother without writing the name of injection on prescription and have also provided some medicine for which he charged ( both for injection and medicine), but no prescription or cash memo has been given. He writes that he is Bachelor in Integrated medicine and surgery and a post graduate scholar. On asking abour his PG qualification ( i.e which stream ) he refused to say anything and asked that if I have faith in him, I can take his treatment otherwise can go out. Outside of his chamber from a certificate shows that he is member of Delhi bhartiya chikitsa parishad. He also maintian a website as http://bestsexologist.com
He has prescribed allopathic medicne also.
I doubt whether he is competent for skin treatment, as he did not reveal his post graduate qulaification also, moreover it is not clear that he has any specialisation in skin disease.
I need your kind help and solicite your advice please.
