Hello there,
I have been using your courier services for more than 10 years now. I have a business for which at the end of every month i send the bills to my clients worth lakhs all over the country using dtdc east anandbagh. I have also had faith and thought that dtdc east anandbagh was doing a great job till recently.
On the 30/8/17 as usual i sent bills amounting to rs 1, 00, 000 to bangalore (Attaching pics for your reference of the receipt) addressed to mr rateesh with tracking no f10446617. I had paid the normal fee of rs 105 for this courier as this was good for me.
On the 4/10/17 again i sent bills amounting to 1, 25, 000 to bangalore (Attaching pics for your reference of the receipt) addresses to mr rateesh with tracking no f10448168. I had again paid the same fee of rs 105 for this courier.
Was awaiting for funds on these bills from my client from sep to nov last week. I kept writing to my clients that payments are pended constantly. Finally on the 27 of november i contacted your east anandbagh office to look for my couriers and if they were returned or delivered to bangalore.
I usually donât keep the receipts because in the past 10 years i had never faced a non delivery issue. Requested the lady at the reception to please do a name search, pin search or a date search. The answer to this was you have to come personally to the courier office to get this done.
So i immediately rushed and tried to talk to ms lakshmi at the reception. She said leave the details and your contact number and we will look for it when we have time and contact you. When i yelled and said that it has bills amounting to rs 2.5 lakhs is when they thought it was important and only started looking for it. When the system could not trace i asked them for the procedure followed if the courier was not delivered at client address or returned. The answer i got was if its returned the sender is contacted and the courier is handed back to the sender.
I clearly and strongly said that i had received no call from dtdc for 3 months now about a returned courier. They say i might have missed their call. I run my business on my phone and get about 100 calls that i receive on a daily basis. If there was a missed call i would have returned their call.
All said and done when i insisted that the return couriers bag to be checked wasting about 1 hour already to my horror i find both my couriers had been returned back on no f10446617. September 6 and f10448168 on october 6. These were lying under the table of the receptionist for more than 3 months without a single effort by dtdc staff to return the courier back to me.
When i asked ms lakshmi she said i donât know the delivery boy s name is srikanth and he is on off today. So i cannot say anything.
So ill mannered. Is dtdc sending my bills free of cost.? What is the responsibility of staff of dtdc of dtdc for that matter? There were about 100 more couriers in that bag. I feel sad for people who trust dtdc so much. The attitude of ms lakshmi is hopeless. The least she could do was say sorry. The best part is she did not even have regret. She was like not my problem.
I am still waiting for those payments from my clients. All because of the sheer careless ness and ir responsibility by dtdc and staff. Is dtdc going to pay for my suffering and compensate 2.5 lakhs.??? I have been busy with personal emergencies and hence could not write earlier.
I am taking this up with the consumer forum. Will definitely put it on social media. So please watch out for your space on social media. Please be rest assured i shall take it upto the top most guy in your organization.
I pay rs 105 + rs 105 and rs 225 for screw up and my courier to be delivered urgently.
Dtdc world famous does not care about customers issues. Fantastic.
Its sad that because of a few # who donât understand service you guys are falling down on your brand name and image.
The saddest part is my office is less than 500 metres from dtdc east anandbagh office. I am worried of the plight of ignorant people.
Hoping for some action atleast now.
