DTDC Courier & Cargo — Urgent - Shipment Not Delivered/Unable to be tracked

I am filing this complaint against DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd for deficiency in service, negligence, and failure to deliver a time-sensitive consignment.

I had booked a courier through DTDC on 14 March 2026 with the following details:

- Booking Branch:
1, Kodigehalli Main Rd, Kodigehalli,
Krishnarajapuram, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560067
- Courier Charges Paid: ₹1, 080
- Approximate Value of Consignment: ₹5, 000 – ₹10, 000

The consignment has still not been delivered even after an unreasonable delay. Despite repeated attempts to contact DTDC customer care and the concerned branch, there has been no response, no proper update, and no accountability.

This consignment was intended for event decoration purposes, making it highly time-sensitive. Due to the failure of DTDC to deliver the shipment on time, I am now forced to bear additional expenses and make alternative arrangements at my own cost. This has resulted in financial loss, inconvenience, and significant mental stress.

The inaction and lack of response from DTDC clearly demonstrate negligence and complete disregard for customer service and accountability.

DTDC has failed in its obligations by:
1. Not delivering the consignment within a reasonable time
2. Not providing accurate or transparent tracking updates
3. Not responding to customer queries or complaints
4. Mishandling a time-sensitive shipment causing financial impact

This constitutes a clear case of "deficiency in service" under the Consumer Protection Act.

I request the Honorable Authority to:
- Direct DTDC to immediately locate and deliver the consignment OR declare it lost
- Refund the courier charges of ₹1, 080
- Compensate me for the value of the consignment (₹5, 000 – ₹10, 000)
- Provide additional compensation for financial loss, inconvenience, and mental harassment
- Take appropriate action against DTDC for such negligent service practices

I am attaching the booking receipt and tracking details as supporting evidence.
