DTDC Courier & Cargo — Wrong delivery twice

There is a DTDC centre near by Pista House, Shah-Ali-Banda. I do not know if this centre is being operated with your knowledge or not because its address is not found on google but very other branch. They gave me their official contact number to be [protected], WHICH IS NEVER ANSWERED.

I went there on Thursday (14th-May) first time in the evening to handover 2 parcel for shipping to different locations with address details clearly mentioned on them and there were 2 people. One said I do not know anything (how to write etc) and the other went outside on some work. I needed the shipment numbers to share with receivers of my parcels on an immediate basis. The other person in the centre asked me to keep the parcels with them and leave, and they will send me tracking details via whatsapp by the next day. Because I needed tracking details immediately, I did not follow his advice and kept the parcels with me.

I went there on the next day again in the morning. This time a new person was available and said receipts book is over, it was already ordered via rapido, is about to be delivered to them, you may keep your parcels with us, once the receipts book arrives we will arrange them for delivery and send you tracking details. Because this was my 2nd visit, I nodded to what he said, handed over 2 parcels and came home. I have contacted them around noon but no response, so went to the store again - 3RD TIME.

This time the person who told me the above story was available, wrote my parcels' details on receipts and gave me the bill copies. I took a sigh of relief assuming the parcels' delivery will be initiated.

Guess what?!

The next day around noon I opened your tracking portal, entered bill no. and was totally shocked to see the destination of both the parcels to be Mogalpur, which is incorrect. One of my parcels was to be delivered in Shamshabad-501218 and another was in Nanded-431601. I realised that some mistake happened and tried to contact the centre on the above number BUT THE SAME SCENARIO REPEATED - NO RESPONSE. I was contacted by the deli ery agent asking for the exact address of my house for parcel delivery - hahahahaahaha. It meant the parcel was sent for delivery to house, the sender??? Destination for the other person was Mogalpur too, which meant that this parcel would come to my house too. Tried to contact the centre on the above number to explain this BUT - NO RESPONSE.

I went to the centre again - 4TH TIME...it was Saturday night.

The person, apparently, responsible for the centre was available. I explained the whole situation and hoped that he understood my problem and it will be resolved. He said tomorrow is Sunday non-working day but on Monday, I will have it rectified. Indeed, he promised me that the issue will be fixed and will update me. I trusted again.

There was no response from him till yesterday afternoon, so I called him again on the same above number BUT NO RESPONSE. So, I contacted your support team via phone, explained the situation but the response was vague. The guy - PRASHANT on call was arguing with me that he does not see any attachments in my email while I can. Actually, I had sent an email with all attachments (bill receipt, packages status, parcels pics)

BUT he said you did not send any attachments in email. So, I forwarded it again and asked him to check but he said while on call with me, he cannot view any new emails. I did not understad how & why any operational system would be configured like that and understood that he is lying. I asked him to transfer the line to someone responsible / senior but I refused to. Finally, I had to disconnect the call and checked if DTDC has any escalation matrix but no use as do not have any.

Yesterday late evening, I received an SMS saying your package H[protected] has been delivered to Glory. When I checked with receiver in Nanded, they confirmed no parcel is delivered to them but the other receiver in Shamshabad confirmed the receipt but the parcel's destination was Nanded and was delivered to wrong address. ???????????? WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW ??????????????

I went to your centre again but this time, a new person was available and NO RESPONSE ON THE ABOVE NUMBER WHEN CONTACTED. The person responsible for the centre and promised me the solution was not available again.

Now, while I am writing this message your team sent me confirmation of delivery of the package and also a separate email confirming the issue got resolved, hence ticket is closed.

Without checking with me, your team is doing everything on their own while I am facing all this.

I put my comment on your profile Mr.Abhishek but received response from your support profile. I asked them to call me to discuss the issue but they asked me to send it via email. So, no one has the customer centric mindset to reach out to customer when the customer is facing problem with your service. Is this how you run your service ?????????? GREAT CEO.

SHAME ON DTDC and all heads whom I send my messages. Nobody showed minimum courtesy to contact me at least once. It was me all the time running around your DTDC office and contacted your support team.
