Dtdc Courier — Lost consignment | |||
Consignment no. K[protected] was booked from Burnpur (713325) centre of DTDC on 28.10.2015. When it was not delivered till 2nd. November I approached the DTDC person at Burnpur. He assured me that the consignment would be delivered shortly. On 4th. the tracking record showed 'attempted' but on enquiry from consignee it was gathered that no one called or came for delivery during all this period. On 6th Nov. when it was still not delivered we approach your representative at Burnpur again.After checking the records he informed that the consignment had been returned and was on its way back. After a week we enquired again at the DTDC local office and was informed that the package was sent again to addressee and this time the delivery will definitely be effected.It was end of November by this time . On 12th Dec. we went to the local office and confronted the person in-charge and was finally informed that the consignment was lost. The package contained a saree, a Deewali Gift for my daughter in law costing around Rs.2000/- beside the courier charges. I want compensation for the value of the couriered item and compensation for the harrowing experience I had to undergo. With regards, Was this information helpful? | |||
