I was under the impression that DTDC was one of the better courier services. Well, I was wrong! A courier was sent to me from Delhi on Friday, 20 Feb. I kept tracking its status only to find it changing from ATTEMPTED to OUT FOR DELIVERY over a few days. Today, day 6, I called DTDC, and was informed that they had attempted to deliver the envelope three times but the door was locked. I told them this could not have been the case, since it is my mother's residential address and she is always at home. A few hours later, the envelope was delivered. When I asked the DTDC representative who delivered the envelope about the alleged three previous attempts, he admitted that no previous attempts had been made. So not only is DTDC inefficient (a courier to take 6 days??), but it is also dishonest in its dealings with its customers. I will not use DTDC if I can help it. Was this information helpful? |
