[Resolved] DTDC — INCOMPETENCE | |||
Consignment No. - V19989843 I sent a courier from Pune (Aundh Branch) on Wednesday 24 December 2014 to Bastora, Goa. The following are my complaints: 1. While booking my courier, I asked the woman at the desk if the courier would be delivered by Thursday (25 Dec) as it was a Christmas gift that I was sending & I was assured that it would be delivered in 48 hours. Later on, I was told that they "suddenly" declared 25 December as a holiday which is why the courier was not delivered. 2. On Friday (26 Dec), I received a call from the Mapusa branch asking me to ask someone to collect the parcel from their office as they could not deliver it to the given address. I told them that was not possible and I needed someone to deliver it to the house address mentioned. The lady at the other end of the line was very rude and told me that it was the Pune branch's fault for not checking whether the delivery was possible or not and that the Goa branch would not deliver the parcel. I told her to please sort it out and that since the parcel was already late in being delivered I was not responsible for who went to deliver it as I had already paid the entire shipment amount and no one had informed me that there would be a problem in delivering it to the given address. 3. Today (27 Dec) I had someone go to the DTDC office in Goa and they were told that the shipment was sent back to Pune because of an incomplete address. I have received no call despite my phone number being given. Also the Goa branch refused to speak to me on the phone when my person was at their office even though it was their fault. They also had the audacity to tell me that no phone number was mentioned in their records and that is why I had not received a call. Your organization seriously has a miscommunication problem within and I don't understand why the customer has to bear the brunt of it. I am seriously displeased with the way this situation has been handled and I doubt that I will ever do business with you ever again. Please ensure that this does not happen with another customer and that my parcel is delivered to me safely back in Pune and my money is refunded back. Was this information helpful? | |||
