I sent a courier via DTDC Bhayander branch to Ambala on 19th December. This was a package from my brand.
Consignment number:
1. The package was never delivered.
2. The Ambala courier guys claim that they did not find anyone in the recipient's home (this is false)
3. Though I had given 2 recipient phone numbers, they never called
4. They did not leave a note for the recipient to collect the courier.
5. The online system showed the courier was delivered on 21st December causing further confusion.
6. Until 7th December, no one knew exactly where the package was
9. After numerous follow ups with the local office, customer care in Mumbai, in Delhi, over twitter and email, we find out on 7th that the courier has been returned
10. The local courier lady is rude on the phone ordering us to come and collect the package and refuses to take any responsibility
11. Despite numerous messages over twitter to get them to send back the package to Ambala via express delivery, they say they can't do anything.
My package was delayed and never delivered. This is a loss of reputation for my brand as a startup. It cause lots of confusion and mental agony to both me and the recipient who is very disappointed.
Above all, DTDC's twitter handle refuses to re-deliver and end the problem
