[Resolved]  DTDC — Invalid consignment number while tracking

Hi, I had done a courier from Chennai to Patiala on 28th October.But if I try to track the same, it is showing as the consignment number is invalid.Tried to call the office from where courier was done but I got a response that no courier of this number has been dispatched. On calling the Guduvanchery office from which the courier was done, I firstly got a response that the courier has reached Punjab but my address is erased. I sent the address and asked the number of Punjab office where it has reached, I was told that it is on the way and it cannot be tracked. Please let me know how it is possible that the courier cannot be tracked and how the address be erased like this. I doubt this is a clear case of fraud where the statements of the sender are changing again and again. Please note that the courier was done from authorized Guduvanchery office in Chennai. The Guduvanchery office person is not ready to tell me the exact status of my courier. I have to call more than 10 times from different numbers as calls from my number are not attended. Consignment Number:D19899563 PFA the receipt of the same. Looking for a quick response from your side and a valid reason as to why the tracking number is not working even after 7 working days of courier. I tried contacting the shipping office DTDC and I got adifferent reply again saying that the courier has been returned because ofwrong address. But my concern is that if the address was wrong still theconsignment number should be valid and traceable. The receiver address was verymuch correct too. Then the shipping office person called me and said that he issending the courier at a different consignment number. The consignment numberis D19882991.I checked the same online, till yesterday the destination wasPatiala, today it is Delhi. I seriously doubt what is going on here as after tracking also Icould find that the parcel is still in Chennai and the tracking number givennow doesn’t show mw any details. I need clarifications regarding the following points: · Howcan I confirm that the consignment number D19882991 given to me is mine and Iam not getting be fooled again. As the shipment copy still has a number that is not traceable (The destination has been changed to Delhi from Patiala) · Whywas my parcel not sent and if the address was wrong why wasn’t I intimated whenI was calling again and again for the status · I haddispatched the parcel on 28th October, till now it’s in Chennaionly. How will DTDC pay me the loss incurred because of delayed receipt of myparcel and the harassment caused due to the rude and irresponsible behavior ofyour employees. Furthur, if I find some things missing from my parcel which isvery likely in this case because of the suspicious behavior of the staff at Guduvancherioffice, I would make sure that strict action is taken against DTDC and itsemployees. I did not pay 3500 rupees to get mentally harassed.
