DTDC — Misrouting the cosignment and delay in delivery - B19859109 | |||
Hello There I have booked a consignment thru DTDC from Bangalore to Guntakal on March 17th . Guntakal is just 288 km away from Bangalore and the DTDC person told that will take 2 business days to reach the destination . So ideally it should have reached latest by 19th evening. However today is 20 and still the consignment is in Transit. When I checked on DTDC online tracker the consignment has reached to Kurnool which is no where connected to Guntakal route nor near by . After multiple follows up, calls the kurnool DTDC office agreed to send the shipment to guntakal. We are not sure when the kurnool DTDC team will dispatch and when the consignment would reach to destination. This is totally not acceptable at the first misrouting the shipment which is followed by causing delay in delivery and taking premium charges I was under assumption that DTDC would be faster and reliable. Now with my experience I should say i am totally wrong . Now i am getting into position to recommend DTDC to others thinking what happens if the documents are very important and on urgent basis.
