Dear Sir/Mam,
( i have ordered 2 set in one order n 1 set in 2nd order)
I ordered books from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India(ICAI) and my order is confirmed.
ICAI Sent The Delivery that was Received by Ludhiana Office of DTDC ( Near Preet Palace) on 7th March, 2015.
But They Neither Made Delivery At my Home nor They Gave any Phone Call for the Intimation.
I was Waiting For My Books for Many Days. Many Times I need to call ICAI, Delhi regarding this Issue, but as per their Saying, " Books had been Sent", I tried to make Contact to DTDC many times but Result nothing.
For the Sake of My exams that are going to held in May, 2015 I need to get the Photostate done of these books from Monalisa (near National Road, Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana) Which cost me Rs.560 Each for 2 Set (Total 2 Sets(total Rs.1120( but i paid Rs.1100/-) ) and For 1 Set of different books Rs. 780/- . i need to file a claim with ICAI for this amount but they denied because its not their fault but its a fault of DTDC.
Atlast on 19th I Need to Visit Ludhiana Office Of ICAI for getting the POD number to trace the books then I got the POD number after wasting my time for 2 hours on Phone n on bike. Then i visit your DTDC Store on 20-March-2015 I got my books on that Date.

Now i want to File A claim For the Books for Rs. 1880 for the books
Rs. 100 for the petrol charges for the date ( when photostate done )
Rs. 150 for the date when ( we get the delivery at Your Office )
Rs. 150 for the Phone calls
PLUS General damages under Indian Contract Act, 1872( Section 73)
for the Sake of Proof I am sending u the POD numberrs n YOUR delivery number .
