Hi,
My Consignment No.V18316216, was booked on 24-Nov, 2014 through "Assured next day delivery before 12.00pm" (or Money back guarantee) from Pudukkottai to New Delhi. The agency also ensured that I submit the package before 6.00pm on 24 Nov to them so it can be delivered next day by noon. The package cost is Rs.350
But it was not delivered next day. When I asked the manager Mr.Joseph Sahayaraj next day, he said the package is in Tiruchirappalli and I am supposed to deliver it before 6.00pm at Tiruchirappalli and not at pudukkottai. Since he gave me wrong information, I asked to calculate the charges for Cost for second day deliveyand give me a refund of remaining amount, since it was not delivered next day. He said they have to check with head office and find out whose mistake is this (obviously his mistake). Then they can refund the remaining amount. But I didnt get any response.
So I went the next day, but the manager, Mr.Joseph Sahayaraj said something like this alwys happen and I cannot make him responsible and he did not give me refund. Further he was using unparliamentary words against me. He also challenged me to meet the DTDC regional manager or go to head office to get the refund or even file a complaint with high court, but he will not issue anyrefund to me.
All I am asking is to be fair and square, mistakes happen but they should compensate for that, but instead asking a customer to go to High court or corporate office to get this refund and using unparliamentary words is not good and it only reflects the poor customer care of DTDC.
Please help me out in this.
