[Resolved] Ebay.in — Never Ending Claims Process | |||||
Bought a Lenovo wireless mouse from eBay last week of October 2016. The parcel was accepted by me on November 2, 2016; raised a claim immediately after. The packaging was perfectly fine, no issues with it or any sort of tampering. The issue was the battery that came placed inside the mouse - it had melted due to the heat and the chemical content had spread all inside the mouse; there was a foul smell as well due to this. I have sent the seller images through email on November 2, 2016, itself; he immediately asked me to raise a eBay guarantee claim. Now, the problem is eBay wants to suck up to the seller (power seller) and not antagonize them, and does not have much proof to blame the logistics team, which by the telephone calls made to me clearly suggest. In all this, the buyer i.e. me, is stuck in the middle. They call every 72 hours to tell me that they do not have adequate feedback from the logistics team (Fedex). Despite having asked them not to call me back without a proper resolution, they still keep doing the same. It seems the process was put in place to keep the buyer apprised of latest developments. In this case, there are no developments. Not sure what to do next with these guys except taking it up here. Was this information helpful? | |||||
