Education Loan — not getting education loan

Hello,
I think the main aim for providing education loan is to help students pursue their higher studies without them having to deal with finances. But with stringent bank rules and rigidity is hampering the purpose. I am in need of education loan for mba. I have good academic record, working experience and have secured admission in a college that has great placement record. But my loan is denied just because my father has a low cibil score and is guarantor for a defaulted loan in the past. Instead of evaluating future paying capability of my parent, they are stick to follow what cibil says. Lower cibil can be result of many petty reasons which I don't think solely should affect my issue of education loan. But banks like sbi, united bank of india and canara bank are not willing to lend minimum Rightful amount of 4 lakhs to help a student reach her goal. How fair is it to have ruin someone's career just because of such a reason. They are not even suggesting a way out. I feel pathetic about this system.
