Croma Retail - Extended Warranty Service — Pathetic service and dishonest engineers | |||
I had bought an LG 32 inch LCD TV from Croma 2 years back, along with extended warranty coverage. It was working fine for 4-5 months, after which the TV started having problems with the power supply board (it would turn on and off repeatedly and was completely unusable). Under LG company warranty, they replaced the board and the TV then started to work... But few months later, this problem repeated again while under extended warranty coverage.. Croma has tied up with AHA electronics in Bangalore for servicing and extended warranty related repairs. When i had this problem last May, I had to go through a harrowing experience and 10-15 days of delay to get my problem addressed and TV repaired. Now 3 weeks back, my TV again had the same problem and I logged a complaint with their Croma 15 days ago... Still, these folks from AHA have not been able to address my problem, and have been inexplicably delaying my repair. I have been going through a lot of harassment from their end, and am looking for a means of ensuring that these people are punished for their incompetent service, and dishonest engineers.
