We bought Eurekha Forbes Vacuum Cleaner from Jayam & Co. Selayur. After two months, we were using it for the second time, the hose pipe got disjointed.
We raised a complaint in the Eurkha Customer care.
We were directed to the Madiipakkam Branch Manager - His number is [protected]. Though i asked , he did not want to give out his name.
We are told that replacement of accessories has to be paid though the product is under warranty period. Only service is free.
But there is no such condition mentioned in the Warranty card.
When we ask customer care, they repeat the same that this is the instruction given to them.
Warranty card says replacment/repair to any damaged part except small parts like filter,dustbags will be at manufacturer's cost.
Their service engineers visited my home and confirmed that repairing is not possible for this kind of damage and it had to be replaced.
We asked them for Job Sheets. But they said Eurekha forbes will not give job sheets. We only handle things orally.
Then why now they are asking for money?
As a consumer, i am left shocked here. How can i get justice here?
