[Resolved] Eureka Forbes — Aquaguard classic not repaired since more than 20 days | |||
I had booked a complaint in the first week of Mar 2015 regarding my aqua guard classic water purifier not switching on with Karwar office Tel:[protected]. After a week on rep Mr. Sai Kiran visited and told me that a fuse had gone and immediately replaced the fuse. After replacing the fuse and immediately on switching ON, the PCB just burnt due to short circuit right in front of me. The rep immediately stated that there was a fault in the PCB and had to be replaced and I would have to pay for it. Also, he said he would come the next day with another PCB and would replace it. If there was a fault he should have checked it first and then replaced the fuse. Further, I stated to him that the PCB was just replaced six months back around 26 Sep 14 and that I had paid Rs. 850/- for the same. He asked me for the receipt and since I could not remember where I had kept it, I told him to go ahead and replace the PCB and check with his office if it is possible to replace it free of cost. He said that he would check and come back. After that there was no news about him or anyone from the eureka forbes office for the next one week. Subsequently after a week or 10 days, another two reps from the office came with a replacement PCB for repair. On putting the new PCB, the aqua guard switched on for sometime and subsequently did not switch. Again after checking, the reps stated that the new PCB has also gone. They then took both their PCB and my aqua guard PCB and told me that they would 100% come the next day and rectify the defect. Its almost 15 days now and no news from the reps or the eureka forbes office till date. Due to this delay, it will be more than six months since my PCB was last replaced in Sep 14 and I would be automatically forced to pay for the new PCB if at all it comes. This is a very poor customer service of eureka forbes because in todays world I dont think it takes so long to get a spare PCB especially for an indian company. Further, Eureka forbes is also not bothered to intimate or give status of our complaint. My complaint number is 734 at eureka forbes office at Karwar. Their tel no. is[protected].
