[Resolved] Eureka Forbes — Complaint service no. 71442524 Aquaguard Total Infinti (DEFECTIVE water purifier sold) | |||
I have purchased Aquaguard Total Infinti two and half to three years back. Your service person has fixed the water purifier and told that when the water stops coming you have to replace the filter. On 18/05/2013 the water stopped coming and called Mr. Krishnappa ([protected]) on 20/05/2013 told him the water is not coming. He told will send one of his representative to check. On 20/05/2013 Mr Ramu ([protected]) had come to my house around 3:30pm and first time the water purifier has been opened and checked, when he opened he said that only one filter is there inside it suppose to be two filter, my sister immediately called me and informed. I immediately called Mr. Krishnappa along with Ramu, I took them in conference call, in the conference call Mr. Ramu said that only one filter is there inside the water purifier, in the conference call I said to Mr. Krishnappa about the defective he said to speak to sales team without mentioning the name of the sales team. As a customer how will I know whether there should be one or more filter inside, while taking your product you are not opening and showing what are there inside the water purifier. In this three years I have not called any one to check the water purifier. Yesterday when i was going through the manual, in the manual it has mentioned 2 free service which I have not opted. On 20/05/2013 called your customer care No.[protected] four times, each and every time it use to take more than five minutes to get connected to your person in the customer care. When I start explain the problem to them it use to get disconnected and your customer care said some technical problem due to which it is getting disconnected. I told them if so you should call back to the customer, they said they do not have the facility to call back. Fourth time tried calling, I would able to explain her the full problems after that she connected me to another person, who is her senior, After explaining him, he had given me an complaint number 71442524 and a number to call and speak ([protected]) this number belongs to some one else who no way connected to your company. Again I called your customer care then they gave me a different number ([protected]) which was belonging Mr. Bhrama Raiappa, I tried calling the number but could not able to reach. On 21/05/2013 tried calling the above number ([protected]) which belongs to Mr. Bhrama Raiappa an employee of your company and explained him the laps what your company has done in the product which has been sold to me and he said that this is the first time he his hearing this kind of complaint from customer. A mail has been send to Mr. Bhrama Raiappa, Dinesh and Customer care id on 21/05/2013.(vp.[protected]@eurekaforbes.co.in, dinesh.[protected]@eurekaforbes.com and [protected]@eurekaforbes.com). Under this circumstances, as a customer I am really concern to those customers who has purchased your products and have been using without knowing the defective inside the machines which has been sold by your company. This is nothing but CHEATING THE CUSTOMER WHO TRUST YOUR BRAND AND YOUR PRODUCTS. My self and my family are drinking impure water for so many years, trusting that the machine is giving us safe drinking water. My mother was complaining about the purity of the water and some time even the taste of the water was different and we would have faced some health hazard as well. We have purchased a defective water purifier and have been using without knowing. So, I demand for immediate replacement of the whole above DEFECTIVE WATER PURIFIER with new fresh packed one and also I want to claim a minimum amount of Rs 1, 00, 000/- as compensation towards giving a defective product to us and health hazard would have faced while using your above water purifier. If the above said demand is not meet with in a 10 from today, I have to go to Consumer Court for justice.
