I purchased Aquasure Amrit on 25th may 2013 and got 18 months extended warranty from Eureka Forbes (limited period offer). When the tap of Amrit was broken, I called their helpline [protected] and registered. Request number 76658980.
When the service person fixed it and billed service charge too. I showed him the warranty card too. Still he insisted that the warranty is only for 6 months from the date of purchase. The extended warranty is directly from Eureka forbes and not form any reseller.
When I reached Eureka forbes customer care again on 10th of June, they said that these details should be checked with their authorized service center JP services - [protected]. I reached them and told the same thing. JP services said that only first 6 months are covered in warranty and they asked me to register a compliant with Eureka forbes.
It is a deadlock now. Eureka forbes asks me to go to JP services and JP services asks me to got to Eureka forbes. I don't know what the warranty card is worth now? Why should I pay service charge even when I'm under warranty. Are they trying to cheat customers by giving fake promises? I can send scan copy of the bill and warranty card if needed.
One more thing. The service person is charging any amount he wish for a water tap. 3 months back when the same person came, he charged 200rs. (I've that bill too). When I asked Eureka forbes customer, I was told that it is 100rs. Today, he charged 125rs + 100rs Service charge. What if next time he charges 300rs? Was this information helpful? |
