1) I purchased the Aquagaurd - Advance Active copper water purifier from retailer on[protected]. Bill copy attached here which clearly mentions 1 year warranty.
2) Initially Service Team team denied responsibility for installation justifying area is not covered under their territory.
3) On[protected], observed a water leakage problem from filter. We logged a complaint with Eureka Forbes, no. is [protected] for the same.
Service person called & informed us that all services will be chargeable as machine is not under Warranty. However they never queried for Registered mobile number. We were surprised to know that even after showing Original bill copy also, Service provider denied warranty for the machine. As the retailer has not updated the backend end warranty details to Eureka Forbes they can not provide me services.
4) As the situation was critical with 2 months baby in my house I requested him to to help me with advance AMC purchase and get the purifier back to work. Provider confirmed that other than filter everything would be covered under warranty. However, next day engineer says PCB will not be covered under 1 yr. Warranty and you need to buy 2 year warranty for the same which was another surprise and contradictory statement from previous commitment.
5) On sharing RMN number which is different from the number used to file complaint they confirmed that system is under warranty and everything other than filter would be covered however Service team is trying to enforce the AMC against the filter cost which is purely for commercial benefit and not addressing the solution.
6) On Tuesday morning Engineer replaced the filter and identified the PCB is faulty due to water leakage.
6) Its being more than a week that still PCB is awaited and for drinking and cooking water I have to be dependent on other water resources. Was this information helpful? |
