In Kalkaji, our Excitel wifi connection is not working since last 7 days. I’ve been reporting complaints to Mr. Sanjeev (he leads the Excitel team in this are), sharing screenshots of 0 mbps speed, requesting technical help, setting appointments for the technician to come but nobody has showed up. I finally lodged a complaint on Excitel app and raised a ticket yesterday. After 24 hours and multiple frustrating attempts to schedule visits amidst a busy working life, a technician Mr. Goldy showed up, 1.5 hours later than our appointment. When I shared about lack of connectivity for 1 week, he showed no responsibility or respect and said ‘Excitel’s marketing team is desperate to sell its wifi even when the connection is poor in this area and then the technical team suffers.’ I reminded him that he’s representing Excitel and needs to be more professional. He said he’s a 3rd party and part of Excitel core team since Excitel outsources technical help. I told him that I have been frustrated for 7 days and am considering disconnecting Excitel wifi. He said ‘sure, don’t pay for a month and that’s all’. Extremely high handed, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour with no empathy for customers who are frustrated with repeated connectivity issues, and no problem solving attitude.
