Exide Industries — UPS batteries -NXT-42 Ah 12 Volt Batties-2 Numbers not working.

Sir,

We had purchased 30 numbers of NXT-42ah 12 Volt UPS Batteries ( Exide Powersafe Plus) from the Authorised Dealer M/s DPL Engineers, PNA Complex, XCII/262-11. Kalvary Junction, P O Poothole, Thrissur, Kerala Mob [protected] vide their invoice number 644 Date 21.01.2019 for a total amount of Rs.145920.00.

The batteries had been purchased as per the quote submitted by M/s DPL Engineers for 30 Numbers of batteries with warranty period of 36 months from 21.01.2019.

As the batteries have stopped giving the power back up almost 3 months back. We have deputed the service engineers and found that the 2 nos of batteries became out of working. Since the batteries are well within their warranty period of 36 months up to 20.01.2022. On our booking complaint with the supplier M/s DPL Engineers, they have taken away the 2 batteries assuring that the same will be returned after correcting the trouble.

Now it is almost two months have passed since they taken away those two batteries, on our queries, the person concerned Mr Surendran is responding that, they have send these batteries to some where and have send mail to them and is yet to receive back batteries for reinstallation at our office.

Againi they are asking us to pay for those new batteries after redelivery, even though these two batteries are well within their warranty period.

if given a change, we shall mail/courier all the proofs of quotation submitted, Invoices and all other document s for your verification.

Ours is government of India Public Sectior under taking under ministry of Finance and most of our ofifices are using exide batteries for our power back up purposes.

We would request you to intervene and to ensure that the taken away batteries are redelivery to our office immediatley without further delay or to replace those two batteries with brand new one's with out cost, as these two are with in the warranty period of 36 months as submitted by the batter supplier M/s DPL Engineers Thrissur, Kerala.
