Faber — Horrible after sales support by Faber india | |||
03-Aug-2021 I had purchased a faber chimney on 23rd Jan 2017(12 years warranty) Model: Feel Plus Bk Tv Ltw 60. It has been a very bad experience from the very first day of purchase. The current problem that I am facing is that the motor needs to be replaced even when it is covered under warranty, the company isn't showing any support for replacing it. I had done the installation and the repairs of my chimney from the company authorized dealers(which are charged even if it is under warranty). The chimney needs to be cleaned annually so that the motor works smoothly at the charge of ₹1500/- . The motor used to give a squeaking noise and whenever I called the technician he just used to spray WD40 and say that the noise will go. Not even a single time, a single person from Faber informed us that the chimney needs to be annually cleaned, or any AMC is to be done for the same. I have other electronic gadgets in my home and the technicians do inform that certain maintenance is to be done. On the contrary Faber here has acted very tactfully that now when the motor has gone kaput they are blaming us on not reading the clauses which are not mentioned in the warranty page but the user manual guide which no one reads. Moreover the customer care do not accept our calls. The complaint has been registered two months back. I request you all to be very careful before buying products from Faber. They might come up with some weird conditions of warranty claims and refuse to settle your warranty claims. We trust such companies based on their fame and thier advertisement tactics.
