★☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Experience with Faber India – Palarivattom Branch
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Faber India, particularly the Palarivattom branch. In June 2025, I purchased products worth approximately ₹70, 000, including a Faber HOB, BLDC Chimney, and Graphite Sink, expecting premium quality products and reliable customer support. Unfortunately, my experience after the purchase has been nothing short of frustrating.
The Graphite Sink had visible stains from the very beginning. Both my interior designers and I spent months trying different solutions suggested by Faber representatives to resolve the issue. We repeatedly followed up with the sales team, including Mr. Vibin, who was involved during the purchase process. However, the issue was handled in a highly unprofessional manner. During the sales phase, several assurances were given, but once the payment was completed, the level of support changed drastically.
After months of follow-ups, inspections, and unsuccessful attempts to address the sink defect, Faber finally agreed to provide a replacement sink. However, I was informed that while the sink itself would be provided free of cost, all labor charges, dismantling work, installation expenses, and associated costs would have to be borne by me. I found it unreasonable that I should incur additional expenses to rectify what appears to be a manufacturing or product-quality issue. Eventually, I gave up pursuing the matter and continued using a stained sink despite having paid for a premium product.
The poor after-sales experience did not end there. Before June 2026, I contacted Faber's service team to inquire about chimney cleaning services. I was advised to raise a request through the online portal, which I did. In fact, I submitted the request multiple times and received ticket numbers each time. Despite this, I have received no callback, no service appointment, and no meaningful update. More than two weeks have passed, and the requests remain unattended.
What has frustrated me the most throughout this entire experience is the complete lack of accountability, communication, and timely resolution. Customers should not have to chase a company repeatedly for issues that should be handled proactively and professionally.
Based on my personal experience, both the sales process and after-sales service have been deeply disappointing. I would strongly advise potential buyers to carefully evaluate Faber's customer support and service quality before making a purchase. A good product means very little when the company fails to stand behind it after the sale.
This experience has significantly reduced my confidence in the brand, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend Faber to friends, family, or anyone looking for reliable kitchen appliances and support.
I sincerely hope Faber India takes customer complaints more seriously and improves its product-quality control, communication, and after-sales service processes.
