We bought a Faber chimney in March 2025, got it installed in May and had used it for a month or two before it stopped working. We contacted Faber support (Santoshi Enterprises Dehradun) several and numerous times. They came and mentioned that it needs a motor replacement. We waited for almost 2 months. They kept saying that they have not received the motor and can't fix it. Which motor in India takes 2 months to come? This was utterly ridiculous. After 2 months and after repeated calls and tickets, one technician came from Santoshi Enterprises Dehradun (Faber support partner). The guy said that this motor part that they received after 2 months is the wrong one and they need some other part. That guy never came back. Despite several calls, they kept saying "Ma'am we'll fix it, don't worry" and not a single person came or called back. It has been 4-5 months now and we are unable to use the chimney. We asked them for replacement since they are too incompetent to fix anything but they did not provide replacement even. I can't believe this horrible service by this popular brand. Our new kitchen's white cabinets and wall is ruined due to oil stains since we are unable to use a chimney since 5 months. Please take strict action against these people. They are very incompetent and on top of that, they make false promises and make a fool out of customers. The lady at Santoshi Enterprises also forced me to give Happy code for service, promising that they will send someone after I close the ticket. They closed my last ticket by themselves without even resolving the issue or visiting. These people are Fraudsters.
My request is for a new chimney (same model) as a replacement since I have been stuck with a defective chimney and me and my family do not trust Faber's support technicians at all anymore!
