In early July I ordered the following item from Fabindia online and paid up fully for it by netbanking: Sattva Tub Chair SKU10684540.
Unfortunately, the chair, which was couriered to me happens to be unstable, though there are no damages. I immediately brought this to their attention by email. All I asked for was that a carpenter be sent to attend to it at my residence since Mysore, where I stay, has a Fabindia shop and this house visit could be arranged easily. This was not done. Instead, despite my saying I do not wish to return the chair as it is one of a pair, they sent a vehicle to take back the chair. I stated my inability to send back the chair and once again wrote to them requesting a carpenter. They responded saying they will get back in 48 to 72 hours. This email was received by me on July 27th, 2021. However, despite my reminder a couple of days back, there has been no response from them.
I have been a loyal and long time patron of Fabindia. I am shocked and disappointed that a customer such as myself gets treated in this shabby and shameful manner, and on purchase of expensive furniture, by a reputed organisation such as Fabindia. Was this information helpful? |
