Curtains have gone out of shape
In consultation with the executive at Interior Design Studio, Fabindia Vipul Golf Course EC, purchased upholstery and curtain fabric.Spent 3-4 days on finalizing the fabric. In all 13 curtains of ~ 9ft and 4 curtains of ~7ft custom-tailored by the store. All the handloom curtains have gone out of shape / the length has increased even before the first dryclean.
If the fabric was not fit for curtains then why was I advised to go for it?
I wrote to fabindia regarding the same. "We are truly sorry we will be unable to take this forward, " was their reply!!
This Kind of response is not expected from the global Company.
All the curtains are touching the floor in my house.
Are curtains meant to be used only for a year?
The other curtains that I purchased from FabIndia are exactly size even after the same period.
I also purchased 7 ready-made curtains, which are also of the same size before and after.
When other curtains are doing fine after a year then why only these curtains are increasing in length?
They were not advised correctly by the team as the fabric is heavy and stretchable.
I could not judge the heaviness of the cloth in the sample book.!!
Fabindia keeps the small sachets in the Sample Book for picking up fabric for curtains. But their advisers should know if the 9 feet curtains can be made out of the thick, stretchable cloth. Me and my family have been buying from FabIndia for the last 30 years or more. They can very well check the records, after they have gone digital.
I expected a better resolution from such a successful company. But alas!!
FabIndia needs to accept the product defect and should refund fully.
It looks like it is the end of association with a company I grew up with.
Thankfully, there are more such hand crafted, pure cotton, linen products available in the market these days!

Order not confirmed but payment deducted from my bank account through net banking

I have been a fabindiia loyalist throughout my life but am really disappointed this time.I made an online purchase on 9th August.The order was not confirmed but payment was deducted from my bank account through net banking.After mailing them several times, they initiated the refund on 21st August assuring that refund will be credited in 5 to 7 days.But the amount/refund is not yet credited to my account.They have the utr number but they need to look into it as they made the refund transaction which is not credited to my account.Must have returned back to their account due to some fault on their side.pls I want my refund asap.

Ordered Cotton Cambric Kalamkari Short
Placed an order for Cotton Cambric Kalamkari Short on 8 august 2021. It was cancelled from Fabindia end without notification. And also Fabindia did not refund the amount. I have sent an email and raised a ticket twice and still did not hear from them. I tried to do a chat on the website, which was unsuccessful too. Sent a WhatsApp message no response and also sent a message on Instagram handle too.
I had huge respect for the company and I am a returning customer. I hope they would respond and refund my money. If not this need to be taken seriously and online website need to be brought down. It is a scam.

Wrong item delivery and money has not been refunded
My order number o[protected] placed on Jun 19, 2021. I purchased 2 Men's shirt, one of which was at discounted price and the other on full price. What I received was: the discounted shirt which looked worn and no were new. For the other shirt, I received a pink ladies kurtha which was not even near the price of the shirt I payed. They were shirts I purchased as gifts for my husband and it was so embarrassing to give it to him.
On top of the sheer horror of receiving bad and no product, there is no response on their customer support for the last 2 months. I get several emails asking me to send images of the wrong product with no means of solving the issue. I have lost Rs. 1692 and stuck with a pink kurtha I have no intension wearing. I request your kind help and intervention.

I have ordered 2 products ( order id: o[protected] one of which got automatically returned ( courier: delhivery, AWB no:[protected]. I am trying to reach them for last 7 days about the refund but they never receive the call or replies the mail. I don't know what to do.

Refund after returning an item

This is with respect to the Order ID: o[protected]. I have initiated the return of this item. And the item was picked up by Delhivery on 18th July with tracking number[protected]. Delhivery tracking shows that the return was completed on 24th July 2021. But I have still not received a refund of the amount Rs. 5990/- to my card so far as on 6th Aug 2021.

Furniture: Sattva chair
In early July I ordered the following item from Fabindia online and paid up fully for it by netbanking: Sattva Tub Chair SKU10684540.
Unfortunately, the chair, which was couriered to me happens to be unstable, though there are no damages. I immediately brought this to their attention by email. All I asked for was that a carpenter be sent to attend to it at my residence since Mysore, where I stay, has a Fabindia shop and this house visit could be arranged easily. This was not done. Instead, despite my saying I do not wish to return the chair as it is one of a pair, they sent a vehicle to take back the chair. I stated my inability to send back the chair and once again wrote to them requesting a carpenter. They responded saying they will get back in 48 to 72 hours. This email was received by me on July 27th, 2021. However, despite my reminder a couple of days back, there has been no response from them.
I have been a loyal and long time patron of Fabindia. I am shocked and disappointed that a customer such as myself gets treated in this shabby and shameful manner, and on purchase of expensive furniture, by a reputed organisation such as Fabindia.

Blouses & Kurtha
I am an ardent fan of silk and have been buying silk from before fabindia came to existence. It's traditions passed on. I howerver buy fabindia silk kurthas and blouses. For some reason their kurthas just rip apart. The fabric tears off just like that. I have about 5kurthas which had this, brand new hardly worn for less than 6tiles each.
Regarding blouses, with the very first wear, the golden blouse started turning copper and then to vein blue color. This is specifically at high sweat areas. I am not sure of their quality for the terribly rip off price they charge. All these buys I am mentioning are from kala ghoda store.

Silk kurta torn

I bought a couple of kurtas in January, 2020 online.
(Order ID: O[protected] items) Order Date: 16-Jan-2020). Among that, there was a rust coloured silk kurta of price Rs. 2490. A week ago I found out that it is tearing around the back of the neck and then I found more of the same in many areas in the kurta. This was one of the expensive kurtas I bought that day with the others and usually, my fabindia kurtas last for at least 4-5 years easily. This comes off as a surprise and also unacceptable considering I paid so much that too it is a silk kurta. I am attaching a photo for your reference. I would like to get compensation for this. I hope you understand and do the needful.
I have been a regular customer at FabIndia and therefore, I hope I get the customer service and quality products I deserve.

Fabindia - payment received twice but unwilling to return the amount even after 5 months and multiple follow-ups

I had visited Fab India Sarjapur Road Store in Bangalore on 21st May 2020. I made a purchase worth Rs. 6890 through Google Pay.
Upon making the payment, the cashier told me that payment has not gone through and requested to repeat the payment. He assured me that since the first payment has not been realized so it would be credited back to my account but it has not been credited back to my account to this day.
I checked with the store multiple times if they have received the payment twice and every time I got a no as an answer.
As a last resort, I approached my bank to check about this and found out that the payment has in fact been made twice to FabIndia HSBC Bank. The transaction IDS are as below:

I wrote them an email on 30th Sept and spoke to the store manager multiple times but I have not received any response to my email and neither the store manager has done anything to resolve the issue.

It is highly unethical and disappointing that a brand like FabIndia is indulging in such fraudulent Practices. I will never buy from or recommend FabIndia to my family and friends.

One of the pieces I gifted was torn during the first wear .It was so embarrassing to hear that and witness it ! I felt so bad .I complained Mano action and no compensation ! There was another issue that took more than 30 days to schedule a return and my amount was locked with Fab India .In another instance, they have cancelled another prepaid order or mine while the product is till available in the size I picked online .And trying to rip people off with shipping .It's awful and hard to accept that a reputed brand like this offers this sort of service !

Misinformation about the price of product and inflated prices
FabIndia it seems is making use of lockdown for minting money from customers. Already the prices of its items are inflated. Moreover their customer representatives are not trained at all. I requested an exchange of an item. The customer representative very happily issued the exchange without any prior information of escalated costs or hidden charges. Once the item was shipped to me, I have been asked to pay extra money. I dont understand what is the need to hide such important information from the customer. How can such a reputed merchandise brand cheat customers like this!

An Item was ordered from FabIndia online and pre-paid for. While SMS messages for dispatch of the item were received, there was no delivery of the item. Out of the blue, an email confirming delivery of the article was received. Upon contacting customer service and putting up a complaint, the customer service representative Parineeta Bajaj sent across a proof of delivery over email where the signature of the receiver was clearly fudged. Delhivery was indicated as their delivery partner.
Fab India has completely washed its hands off this and has not even bothered to call back. I have lost my money and not received the article purchased. The article was supposed to be a gift to someone and this experience has caused a lot of agony and embarrassment.
This has been a serious matter of FRAUD & FORGERY.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ORDERING ANYTHING FROM FABINDIA.
Fab India has completely washed its hands off this and has not even bothered to call back. I have lost my money and not received the article purchased. The article was supposed to be a gift to someone and this experience has caused a lot of agony and embarrassment.
This has been a serious matter of FRAUD & FORGERY.

I am returning a merchandise bought from fabindia within 30 days as stated on the website. When i initiated the return, the customer care said i should have intimated them about the return of the merchandise with 10 days of shipment.
In short even though they have a 30 day return policy in actual they have only a 10 day return policy with very fine print of extra added condition.
This is unacceptable from such a big label who are so expensive.

bad quality product - no refund
I have never seen a more dishonest company in my life. Now it's happened two times that they sold me something that was broken and not working. When you go to the shop they refuse to give your money back. They are cheaters.
I bought two shower caps. They were completely leaking. I don't care about the price and at the end just left them there because i am fed up with these people they are not worth my time.
The store manager in the bangalore store in indiranagar refused to recognize me when just 2 days back my husband and i were there looking to buy furniture and she was very much there and even greeted us.
The shower cap is leaking water and she refused to believe me. She said "we will have quality control review it". As good customer service she simply had to refund the money. But she insisted on not refunding one of them and insisted that i exchange for something of higher value.
For a 270 rupees shower cap she gave up on 3 lakhs worth of furniture we would have bought.

As a 9 year old customer, this is the first time i experienced bad quality and bad behaviour issue with fabindia and i am highly disappointed and shocked with the insincere, irresponsible and unprofessional attitude and treatment given to me.
Recently, i bought this kurta from fabindia veera desai, andheri (West) store in a rush for an event on 14th march. As i was wearing it, i noticed a 'tear in the fabric' which unfortunately i missed noticing when i was inside the store.
After somehow managing the event, when i took the kurta back to the store on 19th march, the staff was clueless and indifferent. What surprised and shocked me was the attitude of the staff.
I was told two different things on 19th march
First, i was told that the tear cannot be fixed as there are no tailors in fabindia store, which is weird considering the scale and reputation of the company.
Second, that the 'quality unit' will check the kurta and then i will be notified 'what is to be done' within 4-5 days.
After waiting for more than 10 days i received a call from the store stating that it is a case of product mishandling and i should pick up my kurta in the same torn condition. Seriously? Like i would buy a kurta worth rs 1490/- and then make sure that it gets torn as soon as i wear it. Great!
If you see the kurta and its name (Image taken from the website), it had a pintuck detailing on the frontside which is exactly where i found the tear in my kurta. It is definitely not a result of mishandling.
First of all, for one defective kurta, i have had to wait for 10 days and now that my money is stuck with fabindia, i have been told that there's nothing they could do about it.
I'm surprised why there is no return or exchange policy or an inhouse tailor for such incidences in the first place. I wish i would have bought it online. At least they prefer customer satisfaction over false accuses and unprofessional attitude.
I have lost all interest in getting that kurta back leave alone buying anything from fabindia further. I strongly urge fabindia to return my money asap. I hate to admit that such a successful company can come down to such low ethical values and blame their own customers for such a petty issue.
I am telling all my friends and family to never buy anything from fabindia because apparently they have no value for their customers.

I had purchased kurti on 8th march 2019 and the quality of the product was so bad that it got torn in the second use.in recent there have been many instances where the quality has been compromised by the brand. Clothes are getting faded / torn / color mixing. When customers are paying more than 100% than the other brands in the market to the brand. Brand or company should work towards the quality of the items and customer satisfaction. Every industry in recent times are working on greed base rather than need base. I seriously need refund on my product. Hope there is some one to address the issues.

We had purchased few items from Fabindia, New Delhi. One among the items purchased, a women's kurta, lost its sheen and looked very faded immediately after the first wash. After several mails that were exchanged with their arrogant customer service team who said that there was no product defect, they finally agreed to have me deposit the product at the New Bel Road Store in Bengaluru for physical check by their QA team in Delhi/Mumbai, I'm not too sure where. I deposited the product on 10/02/2019. Even the sales staff at the New Bel Road store said the product has visibly faded. After 9 days on 19/02/2019, I got the same reply by email saying that it's not a product defect. However, even after 30+ days now, I have not received my product back nor have I received a call from the store! I have no clue what happened to my Rs. 1500+ kurta! Pathetic service from Fabindia!!

Fab india's jabalpur store has made me lose my faith in the brand. I have been a regular customer of fabindia but my past experiences with the store make me question as to why should i buy from this over priced brand. Jabalpur store staff takes advantage of customers faith in brand and sell defective products and then they refuse to change saying company does not allow that. Though when they are selling the product they assure you otherwise. This has happened more than once. I would advise all to exercise caution while purchasing from fabindia especially from jabalpur store

I have been facing complete disregard by my favorite clothing brand. I have been following up for my refund for almost a month now and thier executive vinod who is the most lethargic person i've come across seems to be just not concerned and that is making me very jittery. Someone is not doing their job right and the lesson i've learnt from this experience is not to order anything directly from the fabindia website.
I purchased a churidar and pants from fabindia's website directly on 12-april-18 order no. 6546005. One of the items didnt fit me and so i asked for an exchange. The item was collected from me on 13-apr less than 24 hrs after i applied for an exchange. After following up for 10 days, i was told that it takes 7 - 10 days for the item to reach their gurgaon warehouse. Once they receive it, it will take another 48 hours to check the garment post which an exchange request will be initiated. I thought in today's digital age, its ridiculous to tell a customer that it will take 10 days for the item to reach their warehouse especially since it took less than 24 hrs for the item to be picked up. Finally after a lot of following up on the exchange with clueless lethargic executive vinod, i demanded a cancellation of my exchange and told him to proceed with a refund.
And then began my ordeal. I have been following up and following up and have only been getting standard responses. On 24-april i was told that the refund has been initiated and will reflect in my account in 7 - 10 working days. Yesterday 07-may when i called, i was told that the refund was not initiated and now they will initiate refund it and it should show in my account within 7 - 10 working days. Basically, if i don't follow up with them, they are happy to conveniently forget about my money. With the kind of service i am getting, i am not even sure if i will get my refund within the next 7 - 10 days. I feel like going to their kalaghoda store and creating a scene there till my money is not refunded.
I'm very frustrated. I've made a big mistake by directly ordering online. Someone at their online outlet is not doing their job at their back end because of which i am suffering. I hope they realize that not refunding their customer's money amounts to cheating.in the interim i'm just feeling so helpless.
Be careful all of you people who are ordering from fab india's online website directly. Instead order from myntra, they have fabindia on their site and they service is much better. Atleast you will get your refund!

Expensive Bad quality products & poor customer service
We bought an expensive furniture thro' the website. They did not ship it for many months. When we called to cancel the order, they refused to return the money. The return policy is hidden in their website. We even found better & cheaper furniture else where but couldn't get refund. They finally delivered after many months. Such an expensive furniture did not even last for a year even with a very light use. Very cheap wood, bad finish, cracks in the furniture. Please do not buy anything from this website. Fraudulent and a very cheap company. Very Expensive for a very poor quality product and extremely bad customer service.

I ordered a product from fabindia in september and its april and i am still waiting for them to take a return of that product that i requested. After continuous followups also there was no revert from there side and now the customer care is saying that we made multiple attempts to pick the product but i was not available to handover the product. I must say they are highly unprofessional people and the customer care is really bad.
Note: they are so unprofessional that the call center executive does not not even have basis courtesy to put the call on hold before discussing the matter with seniors.

I purchased online shopping thru Fabindia by March month, but they are not delivering good quality product, after that i returned the product immediately, after i had discuss with fabindia customer service about my money back, they are not return my money and they are forcing me to exchange the product, i received second time also and increased 100 rs, but that product quality also very cheaper and not looking not good.One again i returned back to fabindia and i discuss with customer service for money back, but that time also they are not giving my money. they replied that we will provide one vocher no and use for another online shopping. But for the last 8 months i follow up with Fabindia customer service about my money back, but they are not return my money 1, 390 rs, So can you please help us to solve this issue and return my money very properly.

I have purchased product online from fabindia by order no 4596830. I asked company and sent mail for reversed pick up. After several calls and mails I got a call from fabindia [protected] regarding reverse pick up arranged from bluedart.
A person came and give awb no. [protected] and took the packet of products worth Rs. 3200 from me on 27th September. After 3 days when I asked fabindia says they have not received the packet andI should follow up with bluedart. Bluedart tracking no is showing invalid.Now when I called [protected] this no is continuously not reachable. I have called fab india customer care and sent lots of mails but nobody bothered to pickup the call or to answer the mail.Lastly today 5th October I have posted in fabindia facebook site where I have seen lot of others are also facing same problem.kindly inquire about such a fradulent transaction and make awareness. This is the way to make money which is not acceptable at all.

We bought a three seater sofa in September 2009 from Fab India Store in Indira nagar, Bangalore. Within 2 months, the seat starting sinking and we complained about the same personally at the store in Feb 2010. For three months, there was absolutely no response from the store. We complained again on the 11th of April in the store register. For 4 more weeks, no one contacted us. We went back to the store again on the 10th of May and complained again to Ms. Vipra. She promised that somebody would come and check the sofa immediately in the next week. She called back to confirm that the carpenter would come on friday evening. However no one turned up once again. We made repeated phone calls to Vipra and Sarvanan at the store and finally spoke to the store manager - Renu Kalevar. Finally they sent a carpenter who examined the sofa and declared that he is not the right carpenter to do this job and they will have to send someone else. We are still awaiting for a response from the store management on this. In the meantime we have not been able to use the sofa. We spoke to Renu once again this morning and she wants us to follow up with the carpenter directly and now claims that Fab India is not responsible for repair of the sofa and that we will have to bear the cost of repair. This is after 5 months of constant follow up on a damaged product that was sold to us. We would like a response and a resolution from Fab India on this Issue immediately.

FabIndia — Returns
I bought a shirt as a gift. The sales person said I could return the shirt if it didn't fit. I went back to the store the following week to return the shirt and get a bigger size. They refused to let me exchange it for a bigger size and refused to give me my money back even when we said we would pay the extra money for tax just to exchange it. I had my receipt, the item was never worn and it still had the tags on it. Nothing was damaged in anyway. They said they do not return items bought even if it was a gift and even if they said I could return it at the time of my sale. The manager was also rude to us. there is a new store of fabindia in jammu at gandhi nagar.it has been observed that the rates of almost every product is increased by Rs 200 to Rs 300.The original rates are either erased or the rates are cut from the barcoded tags. I am a regular customer of Fabindia. Few days back, I purchased one short kurta from its show room at powai. But after washing it, it got damaged so badly that I can not wear it for the second time. The color got spreaded very badly all over the kurta. Shoul dI return to you???
