I got the below email from Fed Ex and shared all the documents as requested.
Also, sent Merit Letter what they requested.
Brief about the shipment: I work for a company in Switzerland and my company shipped my laptop, Laptop bag, charger, head phones to India. the same I have written a letter and sent. No update yet and no response from fedEx team.
Below from Fed Ex team:
If value proof documents is not available, kindly provide declaration letter and mention the AWB (Tracking) number with Date (addressed to ‘Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Courier Cell, KIAL, Bangalore) please mention in the letter requesting customs to clear the shipment on merit assessment on the fair market value and specifying that valid reason why the Value proof is not available and explaining what exactly are the contents of the package, its use, and purpose of import and also please mention value of the package.
Please allow us 48 to 72 hours for the clearance of your shipment, post receipt of documents/clearance instructions.
In case of any further requirement, we will get in touch with you at the earliest.
Warehousing Fees:
Shipments pending clearance for more than 3 days from the date of arrival are subject to the following demurrage/warehousing charges as applicable:
From 4 to 10 days (INR 2.2 per kg/day) or (INR 10/day) whichever is higher
From 11 to 20 days (INR 3.3 per kg/day) or (INR 20/day) whichever is higher
From 21 to 30 days (INR 4.95 per kg/day)
More than 30 days (INR 6.6 per kg/day)
Re-imbursement charges:
Submission of duty charges on your behalf will attract a fee* as follows:
Duty Advanced up to INR 10, 000 INR 300
Duty Advanced above INR 10, 000 2.5 % of the duty paid amount
