Fedex — Product wrongly sent to customs | |
Dear Person in Charge, We have ordered electrical components from Mouser USA under the name Rajesh Aouti via FedEx for our college project at IISc Bengaluru. We ordered via our personal account. The AWB number is[protected]. The cost of the products was below 8K rupees. FedEx misclassified it as above 1 lakh item and sent it to customs. We followed all the required procedures and the customs officer was not satisfied with our explanation as to why we need the components from the USA. We are not sure what to do and FedEx has not been helping. We stopped getting mail responses. Meanwhile, we keep getting posts from the Airport Authority of India that our package is there.
