The shipment arrived in India on 14th Jan with an estimated delivery of 17th January. However the shipment has not reached me as yet.
What is disappointing to me ( being a senior executive of an organisation myself) is that at the time of shipment itself all information and charges for customs clearance was collected from me.
On the shipment reaching India, I received an alert from the FedEx app that my shipment is delayed in customs clearance for need of an authorization letter. There was no email from the FedEx clearance agents with any link where I could submit the authorization letter. Then after 2 calls to the FedEx customer service they give me clearance email alias (marked on this mail) where I need to send the letter which I did immediately on the 14 of Jan itself.
Again after that it took till Monday afternoon for the FedEx clearance agent Ashwini Mathew to send me a duty calculation which was completely incorrect. they have applied 3 times the invoice amount ( when the invoice details are very clear). I immediately responded informing them of the corrrections. Again after that ‘0’ acknowledgement from the FedEx clearance agents.
I filled up with 10* calls with the FedEx customer service who reconfirmed information has gone to the clearance agents and they have not responded yet.
