I shipped a package from USA to India in September which was in customs for 3 months due to irresponsible handling by customs clearance administrator. The customer service did not help me out even after 7 calls, and email requests to them. I had to file a complaint with National Consumer Helpline to get it resolved.
Then I wanted to change the delivery address, since the recipient had moved (3 months is a long time). I called Fedex USA customer service twice regarding this, and they told me that my request has been initiated, yet the package is en route to original address. Incompetent representatives.
To top it all, out of the several calls I made, several times the agents just put my call on hold/disconnected the line in the middle of conversation. Additionally, nobody responds to emails for days, even after mailing at their work email, and not the generic [protected]@fedex.com address.
