I had ordered a cake to be delivered at houston, usa. It was supposed to reach on 24 june us time. But on cross-checking with my brother in law, i found that the cake was not received by them. On 26th june, i get an sms "delivered left at" now, what is this supposed to mean!!!. I called fern n petal but never satisfactorily responded. Instead they mention its not the fault that the delivery man as no one was at the house. I had provide not only the recipients number but also my number. He should have contacted either o[censored]s. Later to the surprise of my brother in law, 3 days later he finds cake in some corner of the house (Already rotten)!!! What type of service is this? I reverted to customer care service but they blatantly have refused to give refund and blaming me for providing a wrong address!!! What a liars!!!

We would like to express our deepest regret for the inconvenience caused.
We would like to inform you that we have checked with the recipient and recipient stated that the gift was delivered to the communal mail box.
We have checked with the delivery team, as per the information, the gift could not be delivered to the recipient directly due the the missing apartment number. We will not be issuing you a refund due to the fact that the address you provided was missing address information resulting in a package that was unable to be delivered directly to your recipient and was delivered to the communal mail box.
Since the order had perishable product/s, we are really sorry that a redelivery in this case will not be possible. Hope you can understand our constraints.

Ferns n petals will be able to attempt delivery of your gifts only once.in the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, the customer shall still be charged for the order and no redelivery will be possible. We will consider the order executed in the below cases:
1. Wrong shipping/delivery address.
2. Recipient not available.
3. Premises locked
4. Wrong landline/mobile number or extension number which may render us unable to reach the recipient for the delivery
5. Recipient refusing to accept the delivery
6. Delivered the product at the gate/ reception/ neighbour
